I have no idea what's happening in Patrick Kane's case now I thought I had a good understanding but now I'm beyond confused

Lol you just want Kane to be guilty. There's no real evidence except for he said she said bull shit, the DNA didn't match... But it's still his fault right? Of course it is.

Lmao what I never said he was guilty. I don't want him to be guilty. But fact is that most reported rapes are not false accusations.

Well its not that it didn't match. They didn't find his dna around her genital area or undergarments. But they did find his dna under her nail and on her shoulders. Eliminates the possibility or rape. But sexual assault is another thing.

I’m aware they found his dna on her shoulder and under her nails. The articles I read stated that the DNA could have come from casual contact or because of a struggle. Of course, this doesn’t mean he DID sexually assault her and it doesn’t mean he didn’t. My post was just to remind everyone who was posting “#freekane” and saying he’s innocent and that they always believed in him that just because they didn’t find his DNA around her genital area does mean he didn’t sexually assault her.

I mean obviously it’s much harder to prove that in a court now. I don’t know much about the legal system for these types of cases in New York, but it seems from buffalo news and such that he’s pretty much off the hook.

Idk this is too long now but the point of the post was just to say he’s still not completely innocent AT ALL

Edit: reading back I forgot to mention that his dna not being around her genital area does NOT eliminate the possibility of rape. Although unlikely, he could have not ejaculated or even more unlikely he used a condom. Again, those scenarios are unlikely but we have to consider all possible ways it could have played out.

everyone needs to remember that just because the dna didn't match, does not mean Patrick Kane didn't sexually assault that woman.

I just saw a commercial on MTV for something called White Squad which was basically a team of white people designed to help people of color deal with racial inequality. Like white people go and help people of color get a cab or get out of a ticket or even get a scholarship??? I was waiting for it to be some kind of joke and then it wasn’t. Like I can’t tell if this WhiteSquad thing is a horrible idea and like super racist or just like white people trying to do something nice???
