I used to be a fan of hers on AO3 until some of her more recent fics made me extremely uncomfortable

Still, I wasn’t expecting this

Thanks for the heads-up!

I don't want to be making a callout post or anything, but a big heads up for anyone in the Sharpe fandom, especially LGBTIAQ fans and people of colour. There's a user known as dorsetgirl1 on here, and DorsetGirl on Ao3, who is a pretty prolific writer for the Sharpe fandom on those websites. She is a virulent transphobe, homophobe, islamaphobe, and racist. She avoids openly expressing those views here on tumblr, but she is VERY open about her opinions on her Twitter. I didn't know about this until someone else mentioned it and I went and looked, and I know a lot of people here, like me, don't use twitter so would have no way of knowing. It might be best to avoid and block her.
