I think there’s nothing I hate more about the new series than this.

How do you mischaracterise your own fucking characters is beyond me, FUDOU WOULD NEVER WHY DID YOU MAKE HIM DUMB HERE LEVEL5? WHY??

You couldn’t make him the playmaker here as well bc you had new characters ok sure but TO STRIP HIM OF HIS CHARACTER AND MAKE HIM A FUCKING IDIOT IS SO UGH THE LACK OF TASTE AND RESPECT!

The sequence is bitterly hilarious tho I cannot lie but still

INAZUMA ELEVEN ARES DEV BLOG SHARES INSIGHT INTO THE GAME'S EVENT SCENES

Level-5 is back with another dev blog on Inazuma Eleven Ares. Check out the details from this latest blog below.

- the way Nosaka is sitting in the stadium is known as “Emperor sitting” in Japanese - this is something Akihiro Hino really wanted to have in the game, but it’s not easy to do in 3D - creating the pose means you have to adjust the sitting position itself, the way the seats are arranged, and the camera angle - with a 3D model, if you have the character rest his feet on the backrest of the front seat, his waist may look like it’s floating - if you have him sit normally, then the feet will not reach the backrest - to get things right, you need to go through a process of trial and error and make adjustments - this process is also key in order to convey the personality of the various characters

Can we just, like, have a high school IE series already?

I know we had Ares and now have Orion, but I’m kind of disappointed with it and I feel like a few people are? I don’t wanna bash it but I feel like a high school continuation series would have been a step in the right direction. Even if you sort of mixed it with the Ares plot line and had Orion continue on as usual without the OG characters (since y’know, they’d be in high school), that would’ve been cool.

Imagine Endou and the other OG Inazuma Japan members, coming off of being legit famous by winning the FFI, going in to high school and being asked to be older mentors to other schools and the new kids introduced in Ares, while they’re figuring out how to mesh in to their high school teams.

Imagine Endou, Gouenji, Someoka, Kazemaru and Handa being the first years in high school together. Kidou is now back in Teikoku, and they’re all small fish in a big pond. Fubuki is trying to build a team from the ground up, Tsunami is playing his last few years of high school soccer, Tachimukai is still trying to make a name for himself as a goalkeeper... Kurimatsu is the new captain of Raimon middle and he and the other first years now have to be senpai, especially since Raimon is getting super popular. Meanwhile, the Ares program is still underway, the Inakuni kids transfer to Raimon to play the soccer they’ve always dreamed of, and Japan’s soccer is going through a huge transition. 

Or like, can we just make a high school AU anthology for the OG Inazuma? I’ve been dying for someone to make a multi-chapter gen fic rewrite of IE, but like short stories exploring the characters more? (Endou’s outlook on the world and how he grows in to being a captain, Gouenji’s depression, Tachimukai’s anxiety, Someoka’s insecurity, Kidou’s whole damn story and how everyone feels about him in the team, etc.) Just like a rewrite where the focus is not on the events themselves but the feelings around them, and how friendships and relationships develop. 

I would do it if I could, but unfortunately can’t write for shit...
