Before the party accept their missions with the Volition on Ruidus, Laudna pulls Imogen aside to talk. They discuss Delilah’s strengthening hold on Laudna and how it might affect their relationship. Imogen kisses Laudna, confirming she wants to stay with her. Though both express grave concerns, they reaffirm their love for one another and dedication towards keeping each other around, however powerful their ties to Delilah and Ruidus/Predathos may be. At the end of their talk, they acknowledge the red strings they wear that represent the bond that ties them together.
