“Okay, you are you aware of AI technology, how everyone said oh one day it’s coming for your job but it was also said AI technology will create billions more jobs . But that’s not going be the case. AI has started to become sentient, having a mind and goals of its own, rebelling against human's.

Kate shook her head. “You know what, Doctor. I have a feeling my memories here are being distorted. Ever since I stepped in here Ive felt off. We should get out of here.”
Kate felt she couldn't rely on her own memories or feelings and that was concerning. I think it might be better to show you, once we get out
”I suppose, but they are hardly the brightest bunch .” Kate answered doubtful.
“I’ve had these situations in my life, where I have an overwhelming need to follow a set of instructions like something was controlling me. I feel fine now but many years ago I lost my infant daughter . I went to her cot and she was gone . So that sounds like an abduction but all doors and windows were locked. Nothing could have gotten in or out. “
“I have a memory two memories but one is clearly true and one must be false. I see myself abandon my own child and then walk away. The second memory I see myself hand my own baby to some vile creature. Neither memory feels like me.i wouldn’t abandon or willingly give my baby up. And if I can’t trust my memories, how can I trust my surroundings.”

"I have two older sons who have their own lives now they are actually 31, and 21 . But my youngest child is three years old . Yeah pretty big age gap . But well, she wasn’t really planned or expected. I think they may have been just the one but my team were quite capable of dealing with it. "
It was December 25th, Christmas Day. The Doctor landed his TARDIS just outside and walked up to Kate's door and knocked on the door. He was wearing his usual clothes, but also a Santa Clause Christmas hat and was carrying a Christmas present for her in his hands.
“Is that for me or my daughter,” Kate asked . Kate had taken the entire two days off UNIT and was only to be brought in on emergencies only. So a few days of work, was just what Kate needed.
“I’m glad you are here as we set a place for you for dinner. I mean obviously we did that on off chance you or anyone showed. But it was a bit weird having an empty place .”

"My line of work is complicated. Its all a bit mad. There's no real plausible way to have a relationship outside of UNIT. Or should I say UNIT-Torchwood. We have merged with Torchwood, but are ones running the show. " It sounded arrogant a power grab but Kate knew it was true UNIT were in charge.
"I abandoned my baby daughter when I had to go dark I fully intended to go back for her but once it was over, two years had passed. Her name was Autumn." It was completely utterly the worst decision Kate made.
"So, since we have extra resources after the merger we have double the resources. Come with me."
Telling anyone else would have evoked laughter or unbelief to what Kate would say next. “They were Goblins, I think they took her from her cot. My then husband didn’t believe me. He thought I was nuts . Unfortunately it took a toll on our marriage and he ended our marriage. Every so often on the anniversary I’ve had girls reach out claiming they are my missing daughter but no.”
“They is little hope finding my daughter , but I feel hopeful yours can be found. “ Kate had another child since then but that loss was still felt.
