I have so many erasermic feelings. And not in a romantic dynamic. Just their platonic relationship is so good. like yeah I enjoy their ship because in a lot of fics Aizawa is portrayed as demi and that of course appeals to me. But the best thing about erasermic imo is their friendship. The way they're so different and foils to each other and despite that they're close enough that they can read through each other masks and unmask when they're together. Because let's face it they both hide behind masks. One behind a quiet "rationality" and the other behind a loud celebrity persona. One hiding his emotions until he explodes and the other screaming everything except when he is deeply emotional. The fact that they're both hurt and affected by the same trauma and never communicated well enough about that, and yet haven't been able to leave each others' side because of that trauma. The level of trust and care between them. It's such an interesting relationship not because it's perfect but because it's beautiful and flawed at the same time and I love it.
