Logan Walker. A man who is said to be cold hearted and closed off is the same man who’s currently snuggling up against you like a cat. He’s making little groans and snoring softly as he nuzzled his face into your chest. A small soft chuckle escaped your lips before you gently ran your fingers through his soft dark brown hair and look back up at the tv. You want to wake him up and take him to bed so he came properly sleep but he’s just so peaceful laying on you. He deserves a proper sleep after a long day at work, as soon as he came home he almost collapsed. You sighed and decided that it was time for both you to get to bed so you reached for the remote and turned the tv off before gently shaking your boyfriend. “Logan come on, get up baby…” you said softly to him. His eyes fluttered open and his pretty brown eyes looked up at you. A small groan escaped his lips as he sat up slowly. “W-what…?” He said sounding confused and tired. His eyes were heavy and his posture was slumped. You brought your hand up to cup his cheek and smiled lightly at him. “Come on let’s get you to bed.” You spoke quietly and lead him to your room. He immediately fell on the bed and motioned for you to lay down with him. Once you got settled it he was all over you just like when he was on the couch. His face nuzzled against your chest and his body covering yours like a weighted blanket. Funny how everyone says he’s some big tough scary man but he’s clinging to you like a teddy bear right now.

ON THE RUN Transformers fanfic Mirage and Noah

You were Chris's babysitter. You and Noah grew up together, and you know the Diaz family pretty well, perchance. Today was supposed to be another day babysitting Chris, but on your way to Noah's apartment, you decided to take a short cut through an alleyway. It was already pretty late at night since Mrs. Diaz had to take a night shift, and Noah was working in his workshop. You haven't gone down this alleyway before, so you don't know what to expect. As you're walking, you spot a kinda cool, rusty car. You approach it, observing it. You look at the car brand logo only to be met with one you were unfamiliar with. You step closer to get a better look, but that's what the car starts to make whirling sounds and transforms into a tall, mechanical robot. You stare at it in shock, and it stares back at you. You take a step back, and it takes a step forward. You then turn around and sprinted as fast you possibly could. Behind you, you could hear a car speeding after you. You ran as fast as you could, reaching Noah's workshop. Once you got there, you practically busted down the door. "NOAH!" You shouted as you ran to wear he was, working on a car. You almost trip over yourself. Noah holds you by your elbows, and you put your hands on his shoulders, shaking him."Hey, what's wrong?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "Noah, you will never believe -" before you could even finish your sentence, the robot from before speeds through the workshop garage door and transforms into its mech-form. You hide behind Noah, you hear something from behind you. You turn your head and see a blue and silver Porsche. A 911 Carrera RS 3.8 to be specific. It transforms into a robot as well. "WHAT THE F-" You are cut off once again as the Porsche robot things' arm turns into a gun/Canon. It shoots the other robot that was chasing you multiple times. You turn your head back to Noah. He gives a weak smile and speaks. "Okay, before you freak out. This is mirage," He says, motioning to the Porsche. "Mirage is an autobot from a planet called cybrotron. The thing that was chasing you is a terrocon.-" You turned and ran out. You didn't get very far until Noah caught up to in the autobot 'mirage'. "Yo, you need a ride, Mami?" Noah asks with a subtle smirk. "Get in, sweetspark." You hear an unfamiliar voice, oh great, they can talk too. "Sure, I guess." You shrug, getting into the car. Noah starts driving to his place. "So, we have a lot to fill you in on, huh?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "Definitely." You replied.

And I'm like...

A) which fandoms are you reading fics for where you have this kind of offerings on the regular?

B) have you heard of short stories? If you truly think every story NEEDS to be longform to connect with people, I sincerely feel sorry for you.

C) Average novel length is between 50k to 100k. I'm sorry, but CONSISTENTLY demanding fic writers to push out fics of that length is insane. Just think about it: YOU DEMAND AUTHORS TO PUT OUT FICS THAT COMPARE TO COMMERCIAL NOVELS IN LENGTH (AND QUALITY) AS A BASELINE.
