I mean, if Bonnie HAD to be the last Bennett witch (which was lazy and complete bullshit) then it should've meant something. Like have a prophecy that the last living Bennett witch would either save the world or bring it to its knees.
Her bloodline was the cornerstone of the supernatural world. Immortality in basically all forms, the Other Side, and paved the way for spirit magic?
Everyone worth their salt would've been shook if they heard a prophecy about a Bennett witch.
(... yes I'm writing a long fic based on this concept.)

The very best writing tip you will ever hear is this:
Analyze stories.
Don’t just listen to what other storytellers say you should do, figure out what you like about the stories you enjoy and learn to replicate that.
Want to learn about pacing? Examine stories you think flow fantastically.
Want to learn about description? Study your favorite author’s descriptions.
Want to learn about characterization? Critique your favorite characters.
Want to learn about foreshadowing? Explore how it’s done in stories where the plot twist blew your mind.
Storytellers giving advice to other storytellers is fantastic and useful, but you will never know something as thoroughly as you know the things you figure out for yourself.
And by analyzing the stories you love instead of listening blindly to advice, you’ll never be swayed by the bias of other writers and you’ll never take in advice that’s suited for a story you wouldn’t enjoy writing.
So put on some thinking caps and go analyze those stories.

Since the MCU fandom doesn’t really acknowledge Blade on here, let me introduce you to Dr. Karen Jenson from the 1st Blade movie:
She’s introduced as a hospital hematologist who is asked to consult on a burnt corpse that just arrived.
Turns out that corpse was a vampire, and she got bitten and then rescued by Blade.
Whistler and Blade inject her with a cocktail that’s supposed to prevent her from turning, and they tell her if she starts to turn, she should kill herself rather than be a vampire.
Blade takes her home and tells her to leave town because she’s a target now. She doesn’t believe him until a cop who’s a vampire familiar tries to kill her. Blade shows up and beats up the cop (he used Karen as bait), and she decides to stick with him so she live long enough to create a cure for herself. So they tail the cop to some vamp nightclub, where Blade proceeds to beat the shit out of him until he reveals a secret passage.
Karen and Blade interrogate the vamp who owns the nightclub (includes a funny scene where Blade tells Karen to use the UV lamp if the vamp moves, and she does it without prompting and it shocks/amuses Blade when she simply replies “he moved”). They find an archive and get captured by vampires but Whistler helps them escape.
After the escape, Blade injects his serum in front of her, which reveals his hybrid/dhampir status to her, and he goes into a self-loathing mode where Karen tries to encourage him to let go all the anger and hatred he has for himself.
Karen does create a vampire cure and uses it on herself. She and Whistler get ambushed, and they bite/beat Whistler and take her hostage. Deacon Frost (the bad vamp) tries to lure then intimidate her, and it backfires because she tells him that she’ll just cure herself again and that vampirism is nothing more than a disease that’s practically an STD.
So Blade falls for Deacon’s trap and gets captured. They bleed him and leave Karen in a ditch her coworker who got bit the same night she did. She beats him up, escapes the pit, releases Blade from his confinement and gives her his blood so he can fight the vampires. I would recommend watching the bloodsucking scene because it was really a pseudo sex scene.
Blade kills his mother (she a vamp) and Karen takes the opportunity to run and arm herself. She kills a few vampires, and there’s this pretty awesome scene where she sneaks up on a guard and steals his shotgun and shoots him with it.
Blade kills the rest of the baddies, and they go to the rooftop. Karen says they should get back to his base so she can cure him, and he says he needs his hybrid abilities to keep killing vampires. But he does request that she makes him a better serum since he was growing resistant to his old one.
There are many more pictures I can include in here to show how Karen managed to go from stranger to trusted friend in a few days with Blade. But Karen Jenson is simply amazing. She was thrust into this chaotic world and said “What the fuck? Oh well, I’m going to survive anyway and deal with any other bullshit that comes up”. She’s one of the few people that can get away with chastising and advising Blade without receiving a death glare. She can also joke with him too and be nice to him. She needed to take his blood in an earlier scene and he wanted to go out, but Whistler made him stay, so she just took Blade by the arm and sat him down and talked to him about Whistler. He tried to be aloof but she wasn’t having none of that.
Simply put, she is amazing and kick ass, and the rest of MCU fandom should be praising her as much as other women in the MCU universe.
Need I remind you that Blade was really one of the first really good Marvel movies, and it came in the 90s.
So go watch it and flail about it as much as I do because I would like to see a Blade fandom on here some day.

Pretty and lively. Although she is busy with both the swimming club and the student council, her eyes are always fixed on Lelouch. She notices the dangerous expression he sometimes shows, and no matter what difficulties she faces, her feelings for him always win out in the end.

Feelings of love cannot be forced. Everyone knows that. But if they could be recognized as a couple, wouldn't everyone run to the person they have a crush on? Milly held "Cupid's Day." Shirley followed Lelouch. To the place where he was likely to be... And the two of them became a couple very naturally during the event.
Personal note: I like how it's obvious to the student body and very natural/expected for them to become a couple. There are always these cases where two people evidently care about each other enough for everyone around to think "It wouldn't be a surprise if they started dating any time soon", and Lelouch and Shirley is one example of such cases, showing that Shirley's feelings were definitely not one-sided at all.

I had decided to make the main character of my new show a cool hero.
He has supernatural powers, is full of talent, and has a great appearance. A super character who seems to have the whole world in his hands.
But even though he has everything, he can't get the things that are close to him that everyone else can have.
I wrote Lelouch as a boy with such a curse.
He has the absolute power of Geass, and is a great villain who has access to organizations, military power, power, and eventually even the world.
But he can't get small human happiness - friendship, family, or a lover. He has access to everything else.
But in the end, he gets friendship and a family.
In exchange for his life...
That was the character of Lelouch that I had in mind when I first started planning the show.
I worked on the character with the director and many other staff members, and it took the form of an animation.
How did it reach you all?
The trajectory of Lelouch exhibited here exceeded my initial imagination, becoming much more expansive and richer, almost like the life of a single person.
I believe this exhibition will not be complete until all of you who know Lelouch have seen it.

Personal note: In the OG anime series, Shirley is the only one that becomes Lelouch 's girlfriend after the Cupid Day event (if you listen to the outro of R2 Ep12, you will hear Lelouch trying to balance his Zero acitivies and planning out his date with Shirley at the same time). Lelouch has always taken Shirley's feelings seriously, and that's why he erased her love for him in R1 ( to relieve her of the pain he had caused her for killing her father) and then in R2, he didn't want to let Shirley take his hat at first out of fear of getting her involved in his shit again.
I have always taken Lelouch's vehement "NO!" when Shirley accused him of not being serious when he said that he liked her as him admitting that he liked her, just that he was being weighed down by many dangerous things to properly reciprocate her feelings. But Lelouch gave in to Shirley's straightforward sincerity, accepted Shirley's feelings and his own feelings as well at the end of the Cupid Day event.
And guess what, Shirley was taken away from him immediately in the next episode. And it's clearly the intention of the script writer: Lelouch seemed to have the whole world in his hands, seemed to have everything, except for the little normal happiness like friendship, family, or a lover. In the end, he got friendship (Suzaku) and family (Nunally), in exchange for his life. Notice that the "lover" part is still missing? Because Shirley is gone...

The funniest thing about Genesic's au where Lelouch dies instead of Shirley and she takes over as Zero is that she kind of does a better job of it than Lelouch? Like, she heals Rolo's psyche, she gets Nunnally out safe, the FLEIJA doesn't go off, she gets all our main characters to meet up and have a discussion (tragically, we only get to see her informing them of Lelouch's death), and, obviously, she doesn't sow the seeds of her destruction by murdering a whole compound of kids and unarmed scientists (but Cornelia still gets out of the geass compound anyway, courtesy of Jeremiah). Granted, this is partially because Lelouch left a battle plan and put a leash on Rolo by ordering him to obey Shirley, but still
Like, Sunrise really said, "actually, things would have gone better if our main character had died three-quarters of the way through and been replaced by his civilian semi-girlfriend"
