we haven’t spoken in a while. i’m trying to be okay with that.

No matter how far you are, I will always be glad you exist.

I'm always saying shit like "been in a weird place recently" despite never really being in a normal place to begin with

I wish I could go back, but I know I can't. And so I wish you were somewhere in my future, but I can't see it. And that's what's breaking me right now. The unknown. The possibility of never hearing from you again. The fear that you may just be the love of my life, and I might've lost you forever. I can't seem to have you under any circumstance, even though my feelings belong to you. Even though they're calling your name. I wish I could go back, because I miss knowing what it felt like to fall in love with you. I miss knowing what it felt like to love you. But now, I can only be here, in the presence of your absence. My heart aches for you. And I miss you terribly, with every fiber of my being.

I miss you all the time. So much, that it’s turned into a dull kind of miss and I start to think I’m used to it. Then I’ll be out and I’ll see something funny and I wonder if you’d laugh about it too. And suddenly I’m thinking of your sarcasm, then your smile, then how your voice cracks when you’re trying to talk and laugh at the same time. And all that pain of missing you comes rushing back and I realize I haven’t gotten used to it at all.
