I've been Going Through It pretty hard lately. Times have been rough, and in these times I turn to escapism. And it got me thinking about the importance of it, and how it can save us. And how for me this has manifested in giant monsters beating the hell out of each other in movies, and giant monsters are very often used in allegorical n metaphorical ways for things.
So as a way to express my feelings n thoughts on escapism n vent how I been feeling I made this comic n put a lot of thought into it. While for me the Bad Times Beast here is depression specifically, I intend it as a general metaphor for Going Through It so I hope this resonates with other people saved by escapism too, and that whatever you're going through you are able to find the strength to get through. Even if you need some help from your special friends on the screen or in the pages.

help my brain won't stop thinking about an Ice Age/Monsterverse type crossover
but like. different ofc. its more like taking the premise of the first Ice Age movie (the best one imo) and making it Godzilla.

Godzilla as a mix between Manny's role and Diego's attitude
Anguirus kind of as Sid the Sloth
Rodan kinda sorta as Deigo
also Kong shows up and is like "wow y'all know nothing about humans" and helps them keep the tiny human they found alive, who is ofc Jia and possibly Maddie???? maybe later on.
Ghidorah as the leader of the sabertooths, with Gigan as the skinny one who's my fav just so you know.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!
If a website has a paywall, like New York Times, DO NOT use the ctrl+A shortcut then the ctrl+c shortcut as fast as you can because then you may accidentally copy the entire article before the paywall comes up. And definitely don't do ctrl+v into the next google doc or whatever you open because then you will accidentally paste the entire article into a google doc or something!!!! I repeat DO NOT do this because it is piracy which is absolutely totally wrong!!!

a weird thing is that we got waves of people going "who cares if its cringe or youre annoying! have fun!" but no one really learned how to accept the fact that some people will find you annoying or think your art or your work or posts or anyrhing sucks and thats ok. rather it just became a weird "if people think youre annoying theyre just morally bad. let people enjoy things!". like no i think this yes man only biome sucks and people are allowed to not like artstyles and shows and media and other things
