There are mild spoilers concerning Raphael's fate ahead, so if you haven't went to the House of Hope you might want to avoid reading.

I fought Raphael and thought to myself "Can I actually spare him?", so I just knocked him out instead of killing him and when the portal opened I threw a healing potion at him. He got up and tried to fight me again, but me and my party jumped into the portal. So he was 100% alive when I left.

But everyone says that we killed him, and thus I have a question.

Does this mean that there is no way to spare him after the fight? Not that I pity him that much, but I'm really curious.
