[[ Hello guys, I’m sorry to say that I’ll be on a Hiatus. I’ve been more active at my OC blog which is truciidx. Idk when I’m coming back, but I hope I can. ]]

                                “ Hmmm... ”

She stroked her chin as she chewed the meat. Now that she thought about it, maybe she should have taken the time to create it. The meat wasn’t too horrible, but it could be better.

She shrugged. Oh well.

Her head turned towards his direction as he asked her if she inherited a beast form. 

                              “ I do, but my dad said not to turn into                                  a monster unless if it’s important. ”

“….that was fast.” He blinks down at her. “Did you already make it? You can take your time and actually enjoy it if you want, y’know… Hey, do you mind if I ask you a couple things? I don’t run into variants of myself too much so it’s interesting to see how they… compare. Like, do you have an alternate monster form? I’ve seen all kinds of variants on that. Mine just looks a lot like my dad’s did. Sort of.” His was a lot more streamlined, not as emaciated and ugly. 

         “ You silly butt! I’m not a gross baby! You’re a gross baby! ”

A small child loomed over a shadow, only revealing half of her body. She watched the other woman do whatever she was doing. Leaning her elbow against the floor, she called out to the other,

                “ Hey, do you know where I can find free food? ”

THEN WHO’S FLYING THE PLANE

As soon as she saw the man approach, she ducked down so that he wouldn’t see her. Her heart started to drum vigorously against her chest, sweat started to secrete from the pores of her skin, and her arms wrapped around her Doll tightly. A part of her wanted to pop out and greet him while another part of her wanted to explode. Why was she so scared all of a sudden? Wasn’t this what she wanted? The Room gave her permission to explore beyond her world and she took the opportunity without a second thought. Now she started to regret this. 

Nox ( the doll ) seemed to notice Huguette’s distress and decided to whisper some comforting words. However, her words didn’t shake the child’s mixed emotions, so the only way to counteract this fear was to expose her to it. The Doll had no fear, for she felt capable of handling any adversary that dare to cross her path. 

She tried to escape from Huguette’s grip, but to no avail. However, with much determination, Nox was able to free herself from Huguette’s grasp and exposed herself to Milion. 

The Doll just stared at Milion with her gazeless stare and merely pointed at the bush where Huguette hid. 

Like Son, Like Daughter

Over his years caring for Hugo in the Room, Milion had become almost eerily attuned to the sound of his coughing, eventually getting to the point where he could hear even the softest hacking from a few rooms away. So when Huguette began to cough, the man’s instincts kicked in and he immediately sprang to his feet, brushing off his dress as he scanned his son for any sign of distress. Hugo, however, was still happily humming away as he wove his flower chain, and the cough didn’t sound like an Elsen cough. If it hadn’t been Hugo coughing, then who?

“ Hello?” Keeping an eye on Hugo as he walked, the Batter began to head down the riverbank in the direction of the noise, stopping a few feet before a few of the young bushes beginning to dot the slope. A quick switch to his second sight failed to turn up any Spectres or Threads, so he allowed himself to kneel on the ground to look as unimposing as possible, tucking the hem of his dress under his knees as he dropped. “ Is anyone there? If you’re hidin’, ya can come out…I promise I don’t bite.”

She frowned at this newfound knowledge.

                 “ That’s–– That’s sad. Sleeping is great y’know.                    Especially when you get tired or when you get bored. ”

She placed her finger over her lips, thinking about how to fix this problem.

                  “ Maybe I could get you a giant blanket and a pillow. ”

clearly, this girl was not the child he was used to seeing, but he was still happy to see a young visitor nonetheless.

“i… well – i’m not sure if i do sleep. or… that. i haven’t thought about it much.”

While the meat was still in his hand, she munched the anaconda meat. It tasted weird, like that carrot, but it tasted a lot better. 

              “ Hmm. It tastes–– weird, but I like it a lot                 more than the carrot. ”

She laid down on the floor against her back and waved her hands as though she’s trying to feel an imaginary ball. A piece of meat appeared before her and then she ate it. 

“Sure.” He hands the snake meat over. Less of a big deal, he could easily make more of it. “Works better for me that way too. You can really get the taste and texture down better than if you were just touching it.”
