So I know from almost 14 years on tumblr that watermarking your gifs/edits does nothing to stop people from reposting them (or to stop people from reblogging reposted content) but apparently Tumblr will only do anything about it if you have a watermark. So from now on my gifs will look like this. Sorry.
#I'm joking I will not be that obnoxious#for the record I am fine with people using my gifs to react to stuff#and if you wanna use one or two in your meta to illustrate a point I am okay with that as well as long as it's credited#but please don't use my entire gifset in your own posts#theft is not cool#i know they're just gifs and it's not that deep#but I don't want to see someone who's new to the fandom or to gifmaking be discouraged from continuing because other people can't act right#thank you for coming to my ted talk have a nice day

All I'm gonna say is that I know my own font and coloring settings when I see them.
