Do you know any fics set in modern day that aren't AUs? Fics where hualian lived long enough to reach modern era?
I only know of:

I’ve been searching for a ao3 fic that was Hualian modern au, it’s about Xie Lian being a kindergarten teacher and Banyue was one of his students. Then one day Banyue drew two snakes, saying that Xie Lian would not be lonely any more. Hua Cheng once prepared food/lunch for the class, and Banyue had a special one. Hua Cheng fell ill from delivering the food, and the neighborhood aunties like to matchmake Xie Lian and their kids. If you know this fic, please tell me what it’s called!

last night I read this hualian oneshot called ghost of mine by sequinhaze (I hope I spelled that right) and I think everyone should read it because it's beautiful, very sweet and short. if you're in the mood for some fluff that pulls on your heartstrings, please give that one a chance! that author has some other amazing fics such as a comedy oneshot series and a fq hanahaki au that has one of the best mq characterizations I've ever read. everything they write is top tier, but that hualian oneshot just won't leave my mind.

Hey sorry I've been silent for so long. To be completely honest, Hualian and tgcf aren't the only types of fanfic I read, so I go down rabbit holes with other pairings for a while.
Anyway, I've been sitting on some asks for a while hoping I could answer them one day, but alas. I am turning them over to the public to see if others can help!

There's this Hualian fanfic I've never been able to find no matter what. I don't know if the tags are obscure or what.
But the premise is that Xie Lian is cursed or to relive his worst injury over and over again at random moments and therefore the Hundred Swords wounds opens on his body unexpectedly and suddenly. The story is very hurt/comfort between Hualian and Hua Chrng looks after him and heals him. A plot point is that it happens in front of Mu Qing/Feng Xin at a temple and they discover the truth about what happened and take Xie Lian to Hua Cheng. I beleve it's multi-chapter. Ling Wen and Jun Wu also make appearances.

Hello!!
I was hoping you would help me with finding a fic. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it. After like half an hour of trying to find it i feel like i am going mad😭
In the fic, XL and HC were watching the dancers dance. One of the dancers did a spicy pose with her(?) partner and HC laughed, threw them a couple of coins (?) then told them to get lost. XL and HC had a little chat about brothels and XL thought that HC must have went to many other brothels. After that i guess XL wanted to end his virginity that lasted 800+ years. But when they tried it XL, um, couldnt get it up so they experienced many methods to help XL. It was a happy ending.
That's all i remember. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME :(
