A pause. His Inner World is something personal, something he’s hesitant to discuss, but he also wonders if the zanpakuto spirit before him would take a dismissal as an invitation to see for himself. It had taken him a while to get used to, had contributed to the reason his bankai was such a bitch to achieve. He’d spent long hours sparring against his Sakanade, trying to adjust to a world where everything was wrong. But it’s a useful ability, and one he wouldn’t trade for the world.
