I've been trying to prepare myself for a time when my daughter would ask me some hard questions about how the world works. I thought about my options: a. Give a short and possibly unscientific explanation, b. Check #wikipedia and just read it aloud, c. Tell her: - We'll go ask your dad when he gets home. . Since neither of these seems like the best option, what I'd like to do instead is to illustrate some key concepts so that when the time comes, we can look at them together and I can be sure that what I say is actually correct. The first topic I chose is gravity, and while I'm working on and infographic that explains the theories of Newton and Einstein (probably for and older crowd), I made a short #minicomic with some basic ideas.
