So it's been a while since I posted! I'm not 100% sure I'm back, but I've had some ideas floating around my head. So I got back in game for the first time in like a year to take screenshots.

Here is Kaitlyn Park, my current muse, and heir to the Park Empire, a business conglomerate. Currently headed by Cameron Park, her father.

Does Kaitlyn have what it takes to walk in her father's shoes? Is he certainly leaving the empire to her? A single woman in her early 30's with no husband isn't the steadiest bet for the board.

Will Kaitlyn be able to prove herself with the help of her younger sister Diana? Diana's got her own problems transitioning from the firms go to attorney, to working mother.

What Kaitlyn hasn't planned for is the girl walking into her life about to make it all that much more complicated.

Maeve fanfic anon here haha. I'm so glad you liked my lil headcanon! It was fun to imagine. So actually the inspo for Stefan was seeing the photo of Zola Lee from Alyssa's blog with her brother Greg sdkfjdkflgjf I was gonna have him be Maeve's husband but sadly I realized he's a generation older than her. So I used his looks for inspo instead! I also considered Laurie Grimalldi at first too but then remembered that he and Maeve are related so that wouldn't work haha 😂 Also Idk what your next gen queens looked like but I imagine both of Maeve's girls being blonde like their dad. Future Queen Freya is a copy paste of Maeve but with Stefan's blonde hair and green eyes. Carys looks more like a combo of her parents but has Maeve's blue eyes! While Lucas was a brunette like his mom!

Also here is one of the scenes from Before Sunrise that was major inspo for Maeve and Stefan's dance scene. I changed the music to Mahler's Symphony No. 5 because it's much more romantic imo and it's got a beautiful backstory as Mahler wrote it in honor of his wife ❤️

Hahah I loved the headcanon! Ahh I see the appeal for that inspiration, Alyssa does make gorgeousss sims! Hahaha yes Laurie probably isn't a great idea, lets try and avoid a real life Queen Victoria's grandchildren situation 😂

Funnily enough when I did play around in CAS and make the Cameliard Queens, I made Maeve's daughter blonde! Although her name was not Freya, it was Leanna!

4/4 Over the next two years Maeve and Stefan date long-distance. They have their fair share of struggles as any couple does when Stefan decides to move to Cameliard to be with Maeve, while his ex-wife still lives in Monaca with Lucas. Lucas struggles with the distance from his dad, and has a rocky start with Maeve who he perceives as taking his dad away from him (as at this point he’s a young kid around 6-7 yo). Stefan, Maeve, and his ex-wife Rebecca end up working together to co-parent Lucas well and keep his relationship with his dad going. A year after he moves to Cameliard, he asks Soarise and William for permission to marry Maeve, which they happily give. Stefan and Maeve get engaged and on their wedding day Lucas is front and center alongside them. The MacDougal family embraces Lucas and he develops a good relationship with William in particular. Maeve and Stefan end up having two daughters together: Freya (the future queen of Cameliard) and Carys. Both girls are very close to their older brother, and when Lucas enters middle school he moves to Cameliard to attend boarding school there. Maeve then lives the rest of her life happily with Stefan and their three kiddos always reminding them not to be afraid to take big chances. ~Fin~ Apologies for how long this was! The creative juices started flowing haha. 

Anon this was absolutely fantastic to read, and I am honoured that you had such a spark of creativity from my characters! After such a beautiful telling I don’t think I could even think of another story for Maeve that would do justice!

I think I might have to take some screenshots for these final posts before I retire because that was so beautiful! What do you say @thegrimalldis ? Is there a blonde haired green eyed Monacan author that Maeve could fall in love with? 😂

3/4 Six months later, Stefan and his wife finally decide to split up, as two years into marriage counseling they simply aren’t happy together anymore. Despite getting divorced Stefan doesn’t reach out to Maeve because he believes her family wouldn’t support her as a future queen dating a divorced single dad. Maeve enters into a relationship with a guy named Thomas who runs in the Cameliard aristocratic circles. He’s nice enough and the relationship is comfortable. One year later after their reunion and Stefan’s divorce, he and Maeve both end up at a charity gala in Monaca that supports creative writers (Maeve is in Monaca on an official engagement and attends with her distant cousin Crown Prince Milian Grimalldi) while at the event she runs into Stefan. Sparks once again fly and when she finds out he’s divorced Maeve is VERY conflicted because she has been with Thomas for about a year now and doesn’t want to implode her life by being impulsive. Stefan is also sad to learn that Maeve is in a serious-relationship. During the gala (which features a live orchestra), Mahler’s 5th Symphony starts to play. Knowing that this is their song, Stefan and Maeve lock eyes from across the room and he asks her to dance with him. They share a dance and the same feelings they had for one another ten years before when they first danced together on that fateful summer night are felt again tenfold. When the music stops, they start to part ways and Maeve is devastated as she realizes that if she says goodbye to Stefan again, it really will be for the last time. Stefan leaves, and Maeve realizes that she is being an idiot. She’s spent the last ten years of her life wishing that she and Stefan could have had a real chance to be together and now she was going to blow it? Nope, she decides to throw what’s expected of her aside and follow her heart. She goes looking for Stefan and finds him on the terrace balcony. She confesses that she doesn’t want to live her life thinking “what-if” anymore, that he’s the only man she’s ever been deeply in love with and that although she doesn’t know what life will throw their way, she does know that it will be a crazy adventure that she wouldn’t want to take with anyone else abut him. They share a kiss and the rest is history.

2/4 Seven years pass by and Maeve and Stefan never saw each other again. Shortly after their night together Stefan had discovered that Maeve was a crown princess after seeing a news segment about her on the news. He figured that this was why she never met him in Vienna like they had planned, (he did show up) because he wasn’t deemed good enough to date a princess. Maeve on the other hand DID plan to go to Vienna to meet him but wasn’t able to go because Aisling had just passed away and she had to attend her funeral. They each went on with their lives, Maeve had several different partners. Stefan ended up getting married young after he accidentally got his girlfriend pregnant, and has a son named Lucas (3 yo). He also goes on to write a book about his and Maeve’s night together (he changes her name in the book) and never discloses any information that could trace the book back to Maeve. When the book debuts as an international best seller, Maeve is shocked to realize it’s by Stefan. She reads the book and is both touched but also distressed because it makes her realize how youthful and romantic she used to be before reality set in. She has regrets and feels like she missed her chance with Stefan. While he’s in Cameliard for a stop on his book tour, Maeve reaches out to Stefan and they spend the afternoon together before his flight home that night. During their time together Stefan admits he showed up in Vienna as planned to see her, Maeve admits she was going to go but couldn’t because her grandma died suddenly. It’s a tension fueled day where they both wish that things had been different and they had simply stayed in touch like normal people! Stefan describes how his son is the best thing in his life but his marriage isn’t in a good place (he’s been in marriage counseling for a year and half) and he doesn’t know what to do because he doesn’t want to break up his son’s family by getting divorced. Maeve describes her struggles as crown princess and how she fears she will end up alone because she hasn’t been able to open up her heart to someone like she did with Stefan that night, and that she fears her position in life will result in her always being unhappy.  Stefan tells her that the night they spent together was the best night of his life, and it’s why he wrote the book, because he’s spent the past seven years trying to recapture the magic he felt with her. She couldn’t make it to Vienna! No! 🥹 And he wrote a book about their night! I can imagine one of Maeve’s friends suggesting the book to her and then her nearly having a heart attack when she realised it was about her!

Who could blame Stefan for moving on? Not me! I am lovingggg this!

1/4 Okay I have completely made up this headcanon for Miss Maeve on the spot but I figured I would share it anyway 😂 It’s inspired by the Before Sunrise movie series. Maeve is on summer break before her junior year of college starts (so 20 yo) she’s on a train ride thru Europe and her destination is Paris. On the train she meets a handsome blonde hair green-eyed guy named Stefan (21 yo) who is also on holiday from Monaca. They hit it off and he convinces her to get off the train with him in Vienna and spend the night together as his plane back home leaves at 9am the next day. Maeve decides to take a chance and get off the train with him. They spend the night together wandering the city, discussing their inner-most thoughts (which neither has really shared with others), and over the course of the night fall in love. Stefan doesn’t know Maeve is a princess. Early in the morning shorty after sunrise as they are venturing back towards the train station, they hear the sounds of Mahler’s 5th symphony playing thru the windows of an apartment overhead. Stefan asks her to dance with him and they do, just the two of them off in the corner of this side-street taking in the music and soaking up the gorgeous sunrise while they can, feeling like the only two people in the world. As the music stops Stefan asks her to stay still so he can take a picture of her in his mind as he wants to remember her in this moment. It's at that moment Maeve realizes she's fallen in love for the first time in her life. They head to the train station so Maeve can head back to Paris. Neither wants to say goodbye and as they kiss Stefan asks her to meet him here in Vienna at the train station 6 months from then. they don't exchange phone numbers believing that if it's meant to be they'll end up seeing each other again.

I actually didn’t have anything planned out for her if I’m honest, I have played around in CAS and actually have like 4 more generations of Cameliard Queens (because there are enough men who run countries lbr).

I’ll leave who Maeve ends up with to your imagination Nonnie! Did she fall for a school mate? A prince from another country? Or maybe she fell for her mothers private secretary?? If you have anything that calls to you I’d love to hear!

Just remembered that Maeve, Cillian, and Aine are the great-great grandchildren of THE Eleanor Reindel!!!! It's so crazy how much the family has grown I remember when Will was born in Miss Alwnicks story.

They sure are!! They’ve got some fantastic genes in their history. Aisling? Eleanor? Victoria? 3 iconic ladies for Maeve and Aine to look up to!!

I remember too!! When Cat and I realised that they were similar ages everything just made sense! If you go back and look at Niamh’s wedding you can see them walking down the aisle together as bridesmaid and pageboy 😉

Such a great post! I love how Will and Saorise had three kids (2 girls and 1 boy) just like how Will grew up with his sisters! Cillian is even the middle child like Will was!
