Heya! Thanks for checking in! Sorry for the lack of updates recently, my life has been really hectic lately (i.e. moving to a new apartment, searching for a new job, commissions, projects, etc) but I am still active and I have not dropped my translations! Thank you for your continued patience with me!

Yes, I am hoping to! I have chapter 7, but I have yet to scan it, yet. The scanner I was using belonged to my previous roommate so now I don’t have access to it as consistently as I did before, but I do hope I can still get those scans for you guys!

I do plan on it! Again, life has got me soooo busy right now. Thank you again for being patient with me!

As long as you credit me, you may use my scans! They’re not super great or anything, but go ahead! I still do plan on making my own translations mostly for myself, though. Thanks for asking!

Hey guys! I hope you all are enjoying the last chapter of Blanc! I wanted to do a little Q&A to answer some questions!

First, I do want to apologize with how long it took me to get that chapter out. I was making good progress at first, but then both of my parents got covid and I had to put a lot of things on the backburner. Luckily, they are fine now (and I am too!) but it was a little scary, and it was hard to get back into the swing of things afterwards. So I really appreciate everyone’s patience with me while I dealt with that. Thank you everyone who checked up on me, and hopefully I won’t go radio silent like that again!

I also want to thank everyone for their very kind words, they really mean so much to me and keep me motivated to work on my translations. I love you all!! <3

Now to answer some questions...

Was chapter 11 the last chapter of Blanc?

Yes. Blanc is now done and there will be no more chapters. However!! Sajou and Kusakabe’s story is not over yet! Starting in Opera 78 we are going to see Futari Gurashi or “Living Together”, stories where we get to see the two’s married life! But, what are we expecting from this? Is it going to be new content? Or is it just going to be the Pixiv comics but printed in the magazine? We don’t know at this point! Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long to find out because my copy of Opera 78 is coming in the mail in a few days! :) Stay tuned!

Are you still translating Motto Ganbare! Nakamura-kun?

So, I have been invited to join a scanlation group to help work on this series, but things are still a little up in the air at this point. Hopefully we can get working on the next chapters soon, but since it’s no longer just me working on them, I can’t guarantee any sort of schedule. I will do my best to keep you all updated, though!

Can you translate _____ for me?

As for right now, I’m just going to focus on my personal projects, unfortunately. My main hobby is actually digital art, and at this time of year I get a lot of commissions, so I really need to focus on those right now. I will still do my best to continue providing the Doukyuusei series translations, though!

If you guys have any other questions, feel free to DM me directly! I am basically 100% more likely to answer them if you do that. No question is a stupid question and I certainly do not bite!!

Blanc Chapter 11 + Epilogue English Translation

So, this is it... Thank you for everyone’s patience. My gift to you this year. :) The usual disclaimers: Neither my scans nor translations are perfect, this is just something I do for fun! I had one of my native friends help me this time, and even some of the translations she wasn’t quite certain on, but overall I think it’s fairly accurate this time.

Thanks for checking in, I am still working on the translation! Life has been pulling me in a lot of directions lately, so I apologize it’s taking a while. I am a little over 1/3 done translating (there’s a lot of dialogue in this chapter!) so as always, thanks for your patience!

If you are thinking about chapter 11, the wedding chapter, you can find the raws here, and I will be getting a translation up soon. However, as I say in that post, it’s not the end, and we’ll be getting the final little bit in the second and, yes, unfortunately, final volume of Blanc. Unless Nakamura-sensei decides to continue later, to my knowledge this will be the end. This will be coming out on the date that’s written on the last page of the chapter:

So after this date, there will be no new chapters. Sad, but it’s been a great ride. :)

There is a lot to this series, isn’t there? No worries, though! I made a post about how to read Doukyuusei before, so I hope that helps! ^^

Thanks for requesting this! However, there are a few reasons why I can’t. Like you’ve said, Wish Me Love is a manhwa which means it’s Korean, and I don’t know Korean! I can only translate things from Japanese, so I apologize! But in this case, the translating aspect doesn’t seem to be an issue, because from what I can tell, the entire English translation is available on Tappytoon. Please support the author and buy the chapters! (However, if you are unable to do that--although I highly encourage you do--it is all available on Mangago as well)

Blanc Chapter 11 Raws

It’s finally here, the moment we’ve been waiting for... Thank you for your patience, everyone :)

These scans are not good or clean in any sense, but I hope you enjoy them! I am going to start translating asap!

Also, you might notice that the ending doesn’t seem quite final. That’s because it’s not actually the end! In this tweet Nakamura-sensei says that she couldn’t fit everything she wanted in the pages of the magazine, so the rest of it will be released in the second volume of Blanc which is coming out in October! That means we still have a little more waiting to do ;u; I am going to try and get a copy when the time comes, but I encourage you guys to do the same!

Now, without further ado, we have a wedding to attend... ♡

Thanks to @blueyogurt for pointing me to CDJapan where I was able to purchase a copy of Opera 77!! The shipping option I chose said it should get to me fairly quickly, so I’m hoping I can have raws for you guys soon!! I’m so excited!!

Opera vol. 77 Update

Quick update on the release of the final chapter of Blanc!

According to this tweet, Opera vol. 77 (The magazine which will have Blanc chapter 11) will be released on September 16th! For reasons I don’t know (probably covid) this release date is later that I thought because normally Opera releases at the end of every quarter.

But anyway! I thought I would post an update letting you all know I won’t have access to the chapter until then. Thanks for your patience!

Here’s another chapter! I am going to start working on translating chapter 2 and 3 now, thanks for waiting!

This is the last chapter that I currently have. I’m going to look into getting more, but it will probably take a while. I have friends in Japan who help ship me the books, and I don’t want to put them in danger because of covid (although I think Japan is doing pretty well right now). Stay tuned!

Oh, unfortunately, I do not, I’m really sorry! I looked as well, but couldn’t come up with anything. I may try to purchase the Japanese volumes some day and post the raws, but at the moment I’m afraid I don’t have anything for you. :(

If anyone knows where to find them, please let me know!

Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for this one, either! ;n; The same question was asked over on @doukyuusei-mp3 ‘s blog (they are much better qualified to answer the question, haha), and they said it hasn’t been announced, but if it does come out, it’ll be once the manga is finished. I’m pretty confident we will get a drama cd, but we just have to wait a little longer :’)

I’ve never actually worked with an official scanlation group, but in my experience of people giving me things to translate they just give me the entire raw file to look at instead of just the text! It’s important to also see what is going on in the page for context! If you wanted to create a text file with just the Japanese text, you would just have to retype it yourself, which could be very difficult if you have no Japanese knowledge. I hope that answered your question!

Hmm, I mean, in Ch. 10, we actually see Harasen and Sorano together, so I would say they definitely are!

And Harasen is shaving while Sorano is there, so it’s a very domestic scene!

As for the toothbrush, it actually belongs to Rihito’s dad!

We know that he travels for work a lot (which is why he was largely absent from Rihito’s life) so it adds up! But yes, unfortunately, Harasen and Sorano only appear in that one panel, but it’s pretty clear they are still together, worry not! :)

Hey everyone! Thanks for waiting! And guess what? I got a scanner. :)

The first chapter was translated about a year ago by someone else, and you can read it here!

My scans aren’t perfect since I’m still figuring things out, but they’re better than they were before! I might not get around to translating this for a while, so as always, thank for your continued patience! I will try to get the raws for chapter 3 up soon!

Hello! Thank you so much!! This question has already been answered in multiple places, but I will state it here again: Unfortunately, Nakamura-sensei was unable to get the last chapter done to have it in Opera vol. 76 (I’m assuming it’s because of covid, so it’s very understandable!) so we will see the final chapter, chapter 11 at the end of August. I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready for it to be over! :’)

Blanc Chapter 10 English Translation

Thank you again for your continued patience!! This chapter was a lot!!

The usual disclaimers: I am an amateur translator and my translations aren’t perfect! This chapter especially because it contained a lot of casual speech which is considerably harder for me to translate. That being said, I think I at least got the gist. However, if you see something that you find to be way off the mark, please message me directly and I can fix it! But once again, this is just a personal project that I do for fun and practice.

Also! Since these scans are lower in quality and I don’t have the physical copy in my hands, I wasn’t able to translate some of the tiny text that appears in this chapter. Thank you for understanding!

Good question!! I’m actually from the United States, and I haven’t found a much better way to get opera here that’s not just getting it straight from Japan, unfortunately! :( You can buy it from third party sellers on Amazon (like here) but it’s over 3x as expensive--$30 +shipping instead of ¥990 (~$9) +shipping--and the ship estimation is 2-3 months for it as well. But if that’s not a problem for you, you’re in luck!!

I do live in a rural part of the country, however, so potentially it could be found in large cities, but I’m quite doubtful. And even if you could find them, it may be much later than the release date. If anyone has more information about this, please let me know!

You can look at this post to see all the descriptions of each series! I mention whether they feature Sajou and Kusakabe or if they are spin-offs.

As far as Occupation to Beloved goes, since that one has both Sajou/Kusakabe and other couples in it, if you’re reading here the chapters with just Sajou and Kusakabe are 1, 2, 2.5, 3.5, 7, 7.6, 7.7, and the first half of 7.8!
