i think in general, it would be nice for the agere community to remember that age regression is primarily associated with abused or traumatized children as both a natural coping mechanism and a reflection of developmental delays
and this is to say that everyone can regress, absolutely, but please have more kindness for regression being difficult for many. for a while now regressors like us have been thrown under terms like impure, vent, trauma, etc. and have been shoved out of tags and sent a message that our regression is secondary to the happy go lucky soft baby regression people want to see
and its fine if thats what you want. just have some compassion in your heart for the kids who are struggling. maybe your inner child is, too. for DID/OSDD littles who only exist because of trauma and often are dealing with a horrific reality.
regression IS difficult, upsetting, traumatizing, dysfunctional. it is also happy, fun, safe, rewarding. all of these things are true of regression and we dont need to separate it semantically. if you dont want to see the kids who are hurting, maybe unpack why that is. and if youre hurting, youre not impure or whatever other term people come up with to section you off with
love yourselves and others in turn, and it'll make for a better community :}

Wonderlands x Naptime but everything is hazardous when theyre little.
As in: Emu has a little tracker for when she gets lost in the park, Tsukasa has to wear knee protectors due to his stumbling, objects on high shelves have to be placed back or secured with tape cuz Nene keeps trying to grab em, and glues and strings are kept in a separate area from the craft supplies to prevent Rui from messing with a stuffy or simply getting himself tangled while playing with string.
theres been a couple of other incidents as well. Some such as Emu covering Nene in stickers while she played animal crossing, or Rui covering Tsukasa in sponges because he doesnt want him to keep stumbling.
theyre all a separate breed of kitten, which means endless surprises with these guys, sometimes if they get too wild though, Mama KAITO will give the four to Luka and theyll just fall asleep.
How do their brain function? No one knows, nor is it important.

Little Emu Ootori Headcanons 🩷🍬
-Very playful little, always trying to make her cgs laugh and smile, even when regressed.
-Main caregivers are all of wxs, as well as the virtual singers, mainly Meiko.
-She’s very tactile, and especially likes grabbing and playfully tapping her cgs face and cheeks!🩷
-Sometimes regresses when thinking too hard about their future or her grandpa, leading to a very distressed little. Her feelings get too big for her, and it’s all too much for her sweet little self.
-She never explicitly told her sister about her regression, but sometimes she’ll slip while hanging out with Hinata. Her sister seems to pick up on something, though, and is always extra sensitive with Emu when she slips with her.
-When Nene is taking care of her, they typically snuggle up and play games on Nene’s game console, playing cutesy puzzle games together! Sometimes Emu will just lay against her chest and nap, content to listen to Nene’s game.
-Tsukasa is very sweet, if not a little strict. Emu is very high energy, and Tsukasa has to make sure she doesn’t get into too much trouble. 🩷
-Rui loves playing with little Emu, making up fantastical stories while playing with plushies, as well as letting her “help” him while he’s inventing! (Nothing dangerous, of course.) He makes her cute little toys to play with, and she always giggles and asks him to play with her.🩷

Akitoya regressing together would be the cutest thing ever, you can’t deny it. Toya’s such a sweet baby, and hanging out with someone so little is enough to bring Akito lower than he usually regressed to, maybe around 4 or 5. Toya is super quiet, only babbling occasionally in response to Akito, who rambles on and on about whatever’s in his little mind. Akito thinks Toya is so cute and it makes him giggle, which makes Toya smile at him, which makes Akito giggle harder, an adorable cycle of sweetness! Eventually Akito gets too sleepy, and hugs Toya against his chest like a big plushie, wrapping his legs around him and pressing his cheek against the baby’s soft hair 🩷🥞☕️

Sometimes Rui likes to narrate the things his little ones do while small like a nature documentary, it always makes them giggle.
"Here we see the elusive Tsukasus Littlestarus in his natural habitat - the living room floor surrounded by his toys. He goes for his prey...this kind of star-shaped teether is incredibly rare, only a few hundred left in the wild, will it stand a fight against the apex predator that is a wild Tsukasa? The Tsukasasus goes in for the attack, and bites down on the teether! An incredibly vicious attack from this wonderful being of nature, though it is necessary to keep him from going after the one thing higher than it on the pecking order: the Ruinormous Niichanus, who doesn't want the Tsukasus biting him anymore."

Kaveh is a toddler regressor and his small age is usually between 3-5!
He's a very talkative kiddo, especially when it comes to things he's interested in; he can become frustrated easily if it seems like no one is paying attention to what he's saying.
He can be a bit sensitive when he's little, and is the type to become sad due to empathizing with his stuffed animals a lot.
(I think he probably has a ton of stuffies because of this, as he doesn't want them to get lonely when he's not around.)
(He has also definitely cried when he woke up and a stuffed animal was on the floor.)
His main caregiver is Alhaitham, and due to Kaveh's delicate nature when he's small, Alhaitham is very gentle when dealing with him.
Kaveh can get away with literally anything because of this; Alhaitham doesn't have the heart to tell him no.
Though that doesn't mean Kaveh is running around wild, he's actually a fairly docile kiddo.
His favorite activities are all art related, and he'll spend the whole day making pictures and doing small crafts if you let him.
He also loves making these things for Alhaitham specifically, who always accepts them gratefully.
Kaveh can be a bit fussy when it comes to naptime or bedtime, as he never feels very tired and wants to keep playing.
However, once he's tucked in snugly and Alhaitham is reading him a bedtime story, he always drifts to sleep immediately.

Small Update: Sorry for not being very active lately, things have been a bit rough. I am working on headcanon requests though, and most of them will hopefully be posted in the next few days.
Additionally, I am re-writing the previous fics I had posted to AO3, as I feel I didn't write them to the best of my ability. I believe the rewritten versions already seem to be of higher quality, and I'm excited to share them.
Besides that, I am hoping to catch up on the prompt list I made. Instead of restricting it to a single month, I feel that writing them at my own pace lets me write without feeling rushed, so they turn out better. I'm also open to writing requests if you'd like to see a certain prompt with a specific character! The prompt list can be found here.
Oh, I'm also looking for a beta reader (or multiple)! I'd like someone I can chat with about my fics and who would be willing to look over them and edit them. So anyone who'd be interested should feel free to DM me!
I also decided to open doodle requests! I enjoy drawing when I'm taking a break from writing, so I'd love to receive requests for it.
