the feeling is flowing in doses,

as if you're medicine for my soul

my hands feel numb as we stroll

your gaze is soil for my cheeks blooming roses

seeing you happy makes my heart flutter,

and i'm nervous to interfere

seeing you sad makes my heart smear

how do your expressions make my brain stutter?

thoughts getting trapped in the stairwell

odd feeling that i didn't want to return

the last time i felt this way, i got hurt

i want it to be right this time.

but i don't know how you feel.

exploring with you heals my inner child

and studying together takes us miles
