HUiTS new chapter!

Fun fact! I write on three separate documents, one has chapters 1 to 5, one from 6 to 11, and the last one is literally called '12-idk'. Plus, I don't count the intro as a chapter, so on AO3 I wrote that it ends with chapter 18, but while I was writing chapter 17 on my documents, I realized that I'll have to update that statement, as it's incorrect.

Title: Hide Us in the Shadows (HUITS)

Fandom: Ghost (characters are ghouls with their ghoul designs, not real people)

Pairing: Phantom x reader, Rain x reader, somewhat generic reader x ghouls

Chapters: 13/18

Word Count: 6425

TW: Graphic description of wounds, references to past torture, graphic description of pain, panic attacks, AFAB reader

Plot: After years of neglecting the abbey's archives, the pope decides to hire someone to organize the room overflowing with books. However, while you are busy with your job, an incident uncovers the presence of ghouls within the abandoned walls of the abbey. Soon enough, you find yourself witnessing conflicts between the pack and the new ghoul, as well as issues involving the clergy and the previous ones. 

(A lot of pack dynamics; Phantom has recently been summoned, and his transformation is still ongoing; the pack is having a hard time trying to manage such a troublesome new member; Sister Imperator is a difficult individual to handle (a bitch)). 

[No use of Y/N | fluff, angst, smut, etc | mention of mental health | mention of tics, hyperactivity, avoidant behavior, emotional dependence (among various ghouls) | all feedback is accepted]

For now, I'm drawing some relationships between the ghouls mentioned in HUITS, so these are random drawings because I need these two dolls.

How long did I wait? Three days? to respond to this message because I wanted to reply only when I had both the little drawing and the new chapter ready. (I'm updating right now) By the way, know that this message has been screenshotted, shared with friends, it made me blush and giggle like a teenage girl.

I swear that Huits has a big plot behind it, even though in the last few chapters it seems all fluff and intimacy, so I can't wait to post the last chapter and see if anyone understood what was happening or not.

That being said, actually, while writing the calmer chapters (let's say those of the third act) I felt like doing a mini sequel with less lore, just fluff and slice of life, so I'm taking a poll.

I finally graduated, so here are two quick sketches: one of Dew madly in love with Aether, watching him sleep with heart-shaped eyes as he warms him up by touching, and another of Rain taking a bath.

By now, I see the drawings as advertisements for the fanfiction and the fanfiction as advertisements for the drawings, but Dew and Aether sleeping together is a scene from the early chapters of HUITS, while Rain taking a bath is a recurring scene in the story.

The cuddly ghoul, the nervous one, and the clingy one. Plus, Rain's little head is there because I thought of making some silly ghost stickers.

Rain Design (huits)

As I was saying in the Phantom post, since I've resumed writing the missing chapters of "Hide us in the shadow" (you can find it on ao3 or clicking the link) , I've decided to finally post some designs of the various ghouls. The two forms of Rain are because, in my headcanon, water ghouls are the ones who, to stay on dry land, need to find a more fake solution, as if they were constantly at 25% glamour, because the body wouldn't function properly. So that's the 75% ghoul version of Rain. (not gonna say why is it only 75 and not 100%)

If you want, feel free to drop suggestions, ideas, random headcanons. Chapter 14, for those who are caught up, will be out in a couple of days (since I'm graduating tomorrow). Just a moment of patience

Since I've started writing "Hide us in the shadow" again (click here for the ao3 link), I've decided, albeit very late, to bring my design for Phantom/Aeon. I'm the biggest preacher of ghouls with black/gray skin, so all my designs have in common just the palette changing for the hair and eyes.

I know I only draw Astarion, but I'm truly head over heels for this woman, so I had to dedicate at least a quick drawing to her. The mini-Minthara that appears in the corner is part of a series of stickers that is about to be released, placed there as clumsy STICKERS TO COVER ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and a small spoiler for upcoming projects.
