Hey!
I've figured out what Kindle evolves into!(I've known for a while i just haven't gotten around to posting it till now)
Kindle(Fire) evolves into Ciatato(Fire/Normal)! Ciatato evolves into Chatlah(Fire/Fairy)!
No they don't become Bipedal, its hard to be a flat bread cat when bipedal.

So I’m not sure if I shared this but, here’s Kindle’s design
Kindles can look different like with some marks on the head or less burnt colors but this is like the base of what Kindle looks like!
(Also Kindles eyes glow, that’s why in the reference they are black but on the sheet they are orange/red)

Is there regional variants in laoli? Any you wanna share with us?
Yes there are regional variants in Laoli!
My pfp and banner is actually the regional variant of Bulbasaur!
This is what it looks like in full!
Ivysaur and Venusaur look similar but instead of a flower growing out of their back it’s a tree! I haven’t drawn them yet though.
Because Laoli has a food theme I wanted many of the regional variant to look somewhat food like. So that’s why I chose the colors that I did, wild Laolian Bulbasaur and very adept fighters, with the whole not being able to hid with their colors. It’s actually kinda funny because the Laolian Bulbasaur line loses the poison type and gains the ground type.
Many of the Pokémon Variants have changed types like Muk gaining the ground type and the Fennekin line gain the normal type starting with Braixen!

So who are the gym leaders?
I'm so glad you asked!
We have Legana(Ki/Kings), Finn(He/Him), Dahlia(She/Her), Darcy(She/Her), Phonrise(She/Her), Echo(She/They/He), Tala(She/Her), and Kalei(They/Them).
In order that's Grass, Fairy, Water, Ghost, Fire, Electric, Psychic, and Dark.
Age-Wise(from youngest to oldest) it's Echo, Darcy, Dahlia, Phonrise, Legana, Kalei, Finn, and Tala.
Dahlia would be the first gym you meet as she teaches the player how gym battles work.

So what are the starters of the region? It is usually one of the first things people do in regions-.
Our Starters are Kindle, Murasa, and Berizu!
In Fire, Grass, Water order.
I've even made a Pokedex entry for them all!
Kindle- The Bread Pokémon: Kindle are soft bread like Pokémon that use their body heat to warm others. Kindle’s are often found grouped with other Pokémon as they are friendly sources of heat. They often find lonely Pokémon and befriend them, although they never forget a betrayal of trust. They are a Fire type. (Note by Professor Dew: This Pokémon can Spoil)
Murasa- The Berry Pokémon: Murasa are introverted Pokémon often traveling alone, although when they find a person or Pokémon they enjoy being around they will do everything to keep them safe. They look like Sitrus Berry plants. They are a Grass type. (Note by Professor Dew: This Pokémon can Spoil)
Berizu- The Blending Pokémon: Berizu are known for their ability to blend in with plants, many trainers assume Berizu is a grass type because of this. Berizu are shy and scare easily. They are a Water type.
As you’ve probably noticed Professor Dew has put a note in each Pokédex entry of each Pokémon that can spoil as a sort of warning for trainers. Berizu being the only one of these Pokémon that can’t spoil means they get picked by new trainers more often because spoiled Pokémon are kinda discriminated against.
Moving on from that note, Murasa was the first one I had a concept for with Kindle being the first one I named, also I imagine Kindle as a bread cat.
I haven’t figured out what they evolve into yet so you only have the first form at the moment.

Welcome to Laoli! This is my homemade region that I made with the help of some of my friends.
Laoli is a food based region so most of the Pokémon and Pokémon variants have food themes. This region has a thing called “spoiling” or “rotting” that only affects food based Pokémon, what I mean by this is that most Grass types would have a spoiled form. Spoiling changes a Pokémon’s type to Ghost/Poison and the spoiling is being researched by Professor Doctor Dew and her siblings Pepper Dew and Honey Dew. Yes the professor’s first name is Doctor, please don’t question it, or do I can’t stop you.
Anyway, have fun here in Laoli! It’s a great place and enjoy the food, just be prepared to battle and you will do fine!
