ok, yes. gōnghé, which is…an abbreviation for “industrial cooperative”? Like it was just a term for a worker-run organization? A specific U.S. marine stationed in China interpreted it as a motivational slogan about teamwork, and as a commander he got his whole battalion using it, and other U.S. marines found those guys so exhausting that it migrated into English slang with the meaning “overly enthusiastic”.
That’s…wild. What was I talking about?

Men have not only been taking up too much room on public transport for about as long as public transport has existed, but the people around them have been irritated about it for at least a hundred years. so. something that occurred to me that i haven't really seen brought up anywhere
the general assumption about Tenna is that he's gonna be chapter 3's big bad final boss. the ruler of its dark world
the TV is out of use and from the looks of it has been for a long time until (presumably) kris plugs it in. the TV-World we visit in chapter 3 is going to be one that hasn't been under Tenna's influence for ages, right?
raises the question of who the ruler WILL be. or, if it is Tenna, who had replaced him until chapter 3. if anyone for that matter
long story short tenna is an old man whose been in a coma for god knows how long
