Welcome to Round 3 of the Top Harry Fic Fest!

About:

This fest began with the intention of exploring the versatility in what is simply a role in sex and not an indicator of one’s personality, gender, etc. We’d like to challenge the idea that just because someone may be inherently feminine in their day to day life and even enjoys that part of themselves does not mean they must only take a bottom, submissive role in the bedroom. It’s to celebrate everything that we love about Harry—his femininity, his love of pregnancy and motherhood, and his shy, gentle nature—and to explore scenarios in which he gets to be a top without erasing those beloved traits just to fit him into a box of what people believe a top should be. We enjoy unabashed displays of queerness and the inherent subversion of top/bottom dynamics that are considered “unconventional” through topics like BDSM, A/B/O, trans identities, and so on. That’s why the mods decided to continue the fest to not only shed light on this very intricate topic, but to embrace Harry in all his maidenly aura!

Rules for Writing:

● Participants must be 18+ by the sign-up closing date (April 27th)

● Word count minimum of 1k

● For the consideration of all participants, no underage and no non-con will be allowed; there are no other restrictions on writing explicit/sensitive content, but please tag accordingly.

“Sure you can,” Liam argues. “I’m obviously ‘the jock’. You’re the nerd. Louis’ the delinquent. And Zayn, here, is the spoiled little princess.”

Louis is the only one not offended by Liam’s assessment, smiling widely at being called a delinquent. Liam’s not wrong there.

Harry, however, sinks even further into himself as Zayn leans over and slaps Liam hard on the back of the head.

Harry tries to hide his new monstrosities from Louis when he gets home the following day but he’s too slow.

They’re red and he spies them right away, stealing them from Harry and slipping them onto his hands where he stares at them dubiously. “These are strange-looking mittens.”

Harry bites his lip and refrains from groaning. “That’s because they’re socks."

“I mean, it would probably help to know that you actually want everything that goes along with being with a guy. If you can’t handle the machinery, it’s probably not for you, you know?”

Harry nods and appears to be steeling himself. Louis tenses, afraid that he knows what’s coming.

“Would you do it?”

“Do what?” Louis plays dumb.

Harry has to take another deep breath before he can say it.

“Will you help me figure out if I like it? Being with a boy?”

He takes a step towards the door and they all see it coming but can’t do a thing as the bike decides it doesn’t like the angle it’s sitting at and crashes to the ground behind Harry. Harry winces at the sound as, on the other side of the parlor window, Niall snorts loudly, tears of laughter rolling down his cheeks.

Louis takes pity on Harry and goes outside to help him right his bike. Harry doesn’t say a word as they work and Louis figures he’s probably embarrassed. Louis would be.

Finally, they get the bike to stay and Harry looks grateful for a moment before he turns it into a leer.

When Harry starts having confusing feelings for a male classmate, his sister's best friend, Louis, helps him figure himself out. Cue lots of kissing, sex, and falling in love.

4. I Want Something that I Want

Louis Tomlinson hates bad boys.

Except he doesn't. And he really doesn't hate the one standing outside his new favorite tattoo parlor, giving him the once-over.

But he'll soon find out that his bad boy makes for a laughably poor specimen.

"You must be pretty smart if you're studying law." Louis mocks with a smirk. Harry didn't expect the next words to ever come out of his mouth but this boy just does things to him.

"Two smart people make a genius couple."

Harry knew the voice. He knew. And if he hadn’t known the voice, he would have known the smoky, sweet scent of the boy before him. Seventeen years old, friends since they were eight, and they’d never been pushed into the kissing cupboard together before.

He comes up with a wild scheme - train his current dog to be the perfect dog for Louis - in order to keep Louis in his life, and maybe convince him they're soulmates.

It ends up as something much more wonderful than Harry ever could have expected, stood with a walker in his ratty PJs after a nasty flare-up, and he finally finds someone who can love him just the way he is.
