As he was literally at the edge of his seat as he watched the action on his television, something drew his attention on his pizzeria's wall.

His pupils shifted from the desperate action to this new concern right next to him, his stool slowly teetering with each rapid movement of his head.

Back. Forth. Back. Forth. Sweat built upon his already sweaty bulky frame.

Finally, something steps out from the door...

Peppino's seat finally gave way and he flopped onto the floor face first. Luckily he was able to recover just as quickly. However, his face was a certain hue of crimson as his hands grasped his counter with such a force to crack it between his fingers.

He spat out again, his arms raised and jittering as he felt himself reach his last nerve already. The Italian's digits curled and flexed at the though. HE WAS GONNA GET THAT GUY. HE WAS GONNA--

Before he could do what he wanted, he paused as the pizza FREAK's words finally reached his ears. Brows raised, teeth become unbared, skin returning to its usual color, hands lowering. He...wanted to help his other self? How weird was that? Even after he got his butt handed to him in the tower?

The other vanished to fetch more people, he guesses, before he could even sputter a response. Peppino's head swiveled around to spot him but no sign. Man, he hated Pizzahead so much. Ok, his focus was back on the door the guy came in through. Sure, he already stated he was relieved he wasn't involved in this bullshit but, hey, he hasn't had a good fight in a long while. Plus business sorta died for the day (like usual) so might as well do something fun, eh?

He flipped the sign to "closed" on his door and slipped on his purple p-ranking clothes because...

...it's time to p-rank this.

One shoulder barge through a crayon door later, he's in the middle of it and ready to deliver some red hot Italian hands at whatever freak asked for them.

//I absolutely despise doing this after making my comeback to the Tumblr RP scene but I desperately do need help with affording food and bills for roughly a month.

The short of it is that my job was supposed to start on April 30th but I was informed by the hiring manager that construction on the store was delayed and it'll actually open in the middle of May. It took me several months just to get THIS job and I dunno if I can even grab a second job to pay for food and such so I don't want to chance it.

So I kindly ask if people are able to throw a few bucks my way, I would appreciate it. Absolutely no pressure to donate and please only do it if you're able to. Don't put yourself out for me.

I plan on returning the favor with art and maybe even simple 3D models once I regain my strength. Eating barely a meal a day for a few weeks has taken a toll on me.

CHEESE AND PIZZA CRUSTS APPRECIATED!' ... judging by the crumbs on a few of those faces, they might've already been helping themselves to some food.

❛ Huh? ❜ A questioned hum came with him craning his head to look through the servery window. Not going to lie: he was curious about what was going on with the music and noise in the front lobby but REALLY didn't care to check but now he sees it.

RATS IN HIS RESTAURANT?! THAT WASN'T BRICK?!

Peppino vanished quickly and reappeared behind the counter with Gustavo, head twisting and darting as he looked between his friend and these band rats. His eye lid twitched with anticipation of what would happen if these rodents were seen here. In a restaurant. Where people don't LIKE SEEING RODENTS.

An arm was thrown over his buddy's shoulders as he pulls him away from the issue. Their backs were turned as he started off with a whisper.

It quickly went from a whisper to a scared louder tone as his hands gripped the other's arms out of panic. As he gave an "okay" hand sign to the gang of rodents with a forced toothy grin, his voice lowered as he spoke through his gritted teeth.

Another day, another handful of customers and tips.

The norm for this Peppino. As well as the lull in folks coming in as he sat at the counter, bored out of his mind as the tip of his pencil tapped against the counter while contemplating the answer to a part of his crossword puzzle.

The tapping continued as he racked his brain for the solution. It's right at the tip of his tongue, he swears it, but it's not coming to him. The television quietly playing some weird daytime sitcom overhead combined with the ever-increasing volume of his own tapping, it quickening as his own irritation of both these and the question perplexing him. He bit his lip and furrowed his brow, skin turning a lighter shade of red out of his near-silent rage. His thoughtful hums turned into furiously loud humming as he was ready to TEAR THIS NEWSPAPER TO SHREDS...

...until the show was stopped mid-laugh track as it turned to static. It immediately drew his attention as the paper was saved within his grasp.

❛ Great... Something must've-a wiggled the antennae. AGAIN. ❜ He grumbled out loud. Not that he was watching that horrible show or anything but his ear was tuned to it and it's horrible situational jokes.

As he made his way from behind the counter to head outside, the television changed again. Within the static came a familiar sight, a familiar sound...

Was that...was that HIS face?! HIS voice?! Maybe it was another version of him? He would remember if this happened to him. He looked so nervous. Par for the course honestly with how his life has gone.

AND WAS THAT THE NOISE?! Wait, hold on, this guy was dressed so weirdly... He wouldn't put it past the Noise himself looking and acting like that but something made him doubt it was ACTUALLY him. Call it his Italian intuition.

Peppino returned to before the set that sat above him, eyes transfixed on what was going on. Looks like they're...cooking? And the Noise-like being was threatening him with knives and such. He couldn't even comprehend what's going on or what happened thanks to him seeing it mid-way through.

That sucks but thank GOD that wasn't him.

He returned to his stool behind the counter as his eyes stayed glued to this situation, his thumb immediately mashing to turn up the volume so he could hear them better. He really wanted to know how it'll end...and hopes he makes it out alive.

The OTHER he, not "he" like himself--forget it. All these other him's make it confusing enough. No need to think about it.

❛ ...THE ANSWER IS-A NOISE. ❜ He blurted out as he filled out the space on the crossword before it left his brain once more. Then back to staring at what happened next in this REAL drama.
