He pushed me. He pushed me and I went tumbling down the stairs into his secluded basement, suddenly I felt a cold chill and rummaged for light, I soon found a small lamp, I lit it and couldn’t believe my eyes.

Thousands and Thousands of bodies, all piling on top of each other, seemingly frozen alive?.. and that’s when it clicked, the reason Xeno’s house was always so cold even during the winters was because he needed to freeze these poor people to death, he needed to make sure they were gone and couldn’t come back to pester him and whatever his little sick plan was..

I was next, I was going to be the next victim, I was just his playing puppet, I was never important to him. I was just used, “Till death do us part” the words roared in my head, the same words he muttered before pushing me into this wretched basement, “Till death do us part” it was a couple words that chilled me to the bones.

Athene had just woken up excited to see his boyfriend, the love of his life and most of all, his fiancé. He quickly got up out of bed and went to the closet to pick out his clothes for the day.

Asher was just getting up, a slight headache pounding in his skull as last nights events were all a blur, he slowly picked up his phone and looked at the time he’d sigh forgetting what he was supposed to be doing today.

Athene drove to the restaurant him and Asher were meeting at, eager to finally see his boyfriend after days, he hurriedly ran into the restaurant and sat down waiting for Asher.

He waited for minutes, then minutes turned into an hour, and an hour turned into two, Athene sighed as he picked up his phone and dialled the number he knew oh so well.

Asher answered the call wondering what it was about “Hey Baby, What’s up?” Athene let out a heavy sigh “What’s wrong? Did something happen?” Asher was confused, while Athen was on the phone fuming in anger “What do you mean ‘What’s wrong?’ “You know what’s wrong!? You left me sitting here waiting for you for THREE HOURS. THREE WHOLE HOURS ASHER AND YOU’RE STILL NOT HERE!..” Athene was getting tired, he was tired of constantly having to remind Asher of dates, tired of constantly wasting time waiting for a man that would never remember him and instead go hang out with his friends. Asher suddenly remembered the date he had promised to take his boyfriend on a week ago “Oh my god.. I am so sorry I’ll be right there!” Athene let out a heavy sigh as he heard shuffling on the other side of the phone “There’s no need… I’m already going home.” Athene was overwhelmed with so many emotions he was confused why he was still dating Asher, and angry he even waited so long for him. Athene hung up the phone before Asher could say another word.

Asher knocked on Athene’s door aggressively as if his life depended on it, he was sorry he forgot about the date, he really was! He just needed his boyfriend to open the door so he could apologize. Athene sighed as he slowly got up and made his way towards the door, slightly opening it to see his boyfriend. “What do you want?” Asher motioned towards moving inside as Athene slipped aside to let him inside, “Listen, I’m sorry I really am I just forgot about the date today-“ At hearing those words it was like something inside of Athene’s head exploded just like how he exploded on Asher “JUST TODAY? YOU THINK YOU FORGOT ABOUT JUST TODAYS DATE? I HAVE WAITED FOR SO LONG TO BE ABLE TO FINALLY SEE YOU AGAIN, ITS HARD ENOUGH WITH WORK AS IS BUT HAVING YOU CONSTANTLY STRESSING ME OUT ISN’T ANY BETTER.” Athene’s voice began to crack as he was finally succumbing to weeks of suppressed anger and sadness “I’ve always been the one waiting.. I’ve always waited for you Asher..” Asher took a step forward to hug Athene just for his hands to be slapped away “I’m done.. I can’t do it anymore.. I don’t wanna keep waiting for you when I’m not even your first priority…” Athene wiped his tears and stared at Asher, he stared at him drowning in his brown eyes like the first time they met. Asher was shocked, he was frozen trying to understand what Athene had just said “Are you.. breaking up with me?..” Asher’s voice sounded bitter, full with anger and confusion “No.. I.. I just want a break..” “A break from what?..” Athene looked at Asher once again “Are you sure you want me to say it?..” Asher stared at him for a little while longer than he intended to, his brain was in complete disarray, he was confused and sad, he didn’t even know he began moving towards the door until he was sitting inside his car with a warm sensation running down his face, he thought back on the words Athene said and realized he was right, Asher did nothing for their relationship he just made false promises and dragged Athene on.. He felt horrible, he couldn’t imagine how Athene felt.. He started driving towards his house with nothing but sadness and pain in mind as he slowly sang along to the song he and Athene claimed as their own.
