It’s so funny how you can literally guess by watching early Dr. Who and paying attention to how well the characters are written, wether the episodes were written with or without Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. If the women become like damsels or femme fatales, while the doctor becomes sort of Macho, they‘re involved it’s like clockwork (haha, d‘you get it?)

One of my favourite aspects in the season 2 of Heartstopper is how unapologetically intolerant everyone is towards homophobia. Like.
Harry showing up at Tara's birthday party and Charlie shutting the door in his face despite that apology.
Nick freely calling out his brother's biphobic behavior. Tori literally sinking her nails in David's arm when he was mocking Charlie and Nick and planning to out them.
It's so refreshing. There's no moment where someone asks Charlie or Nick to be the "bigger people" and forgive anyone who undermined, mocked, dismissed, and harassed them for their identity.
Because that shit shouldn't be tolerated ever and it's not acceptable. Queer people aren't here to be your redemption arc.

Something that’s annoyed me ever since season one is the fact that Aziraphale, Pardon my French, is an asshole. Let me explain, it made me quite angry that Aziraphale kept going on about being “the good guy” and therefore unable to be friends with Crowley, while simultaneously being so much less empathetic, more judgemental and more proud than Crowley. He always had Crowley run after him and didn’t really look out for him the other way round. That’s not a nice thing to do. Just because Crowley wears black and is a demon and Aziraphale wears white and is an angel, that does not automatically make him a good person (which is the obvious fallacy Aziraphale keeps falling victim to). And even worse, Aziraphale derives a sense of superiority not from actually doing good, that makes him happy, which is a point in his favour, but from being an angel and therefore, supposedly, “naturally good”. I’m sure that the writers aren’t oblivious to this. I am sure they’re planning something, which is great. But quite honestly, if I were Crowley, I’d have thought Aziraphale didn’t want anything to do with me long before season two, just because of how one-sided the attention is. Crowley himself says it in season two: “You have three reasons for calling me: You’re bored, you need to tell someone about something clever you did before you pop, or something’s wrong.” That’s not a romantic relationship, that’s not even a good friendship if I’m quite honest with you. So yeah, Aziraphale has a whole lot of work to do and I hope, like Nina, he will do that work, after ending his toxic relationship with heaven.

Good Omens season 2 spoilers:
Aziraphale actually believing he can fix heaven, the same heaven that threw Crowley out (who probably tried to change some things himself) is truly an impressive show of stupidity AND a huge slap in the face.

Spoilers for Good Omens 2
Gotta be honest, slightly disappointed in Aziraphale, that Metatron’s “That one always asked too many stupid questions” wasn’t enough to ring all possible alarm-bells in his brain. He literally just insulted one of Crowley’s best traits right in front of him. That should’ve been the moment he woke up. Heaven is bad news and its painfully obvious.
