These are soo cool! I think you did a great job on friendly dragon too.
The reason I haven't been particularly present on here for the last few months. Finally given this to its recipient so it can go on here.
Another baby blanket. This time for @chronicwhimsy's new arrival. The picture quality isn't very good, sadly. I couldn't get a decent full picture of it and the contrast is terrible. Pale colours, my beloathed.
Double knitting, it's about 1m squared.
The folder for my designs for this one is called 'Magic Blanket', which I think is pretty self-explanatory. Trying to make a dragon look friendly is its own special challenge.

How do you not comprehend this when I am literally staring at you. Like I understand that your brain can't understand things this nuanced but come on, how do you not get this.
I don't know if you know that what I am currently doing is an expression of affection, but that won't stop me. Knowing that I showed you that I love you is enough.
I heard a crinkly material and the sound of you chewing so I have to know what's in your mouth RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
I can't communicate with you and you can't communicate with me, so I'm just copying the tone of the sound you're making in hopes that you understand that I try.
You are doing activities beyond my comprehension, and I find this fascinating. I will never understand what the fuck you are trying to achieve here, but I am intrigued nonetheless.
Hey are you ok, you haven't done your weird thing in a while. Yeah I don't get why you do that but I know you do that when you're ok.

How I recognized the pattern I dont know lol
Love these! Pattern and pieces are both amazing. I don’t know where my mitts went but its a fairly easy pattern. I made mine back when I was just getting back into knitting. I also made some fingerless mitts by doing thumb over and over again pretty much.
My only note is that my first pair were way too big. User error? Maybe.
All done glove number two! Reasonably happy with this project. Free pattern from ravelry, linked at the bottom. Love how these are fingerless when necessary but can be flipped up to keep the phalanges warm. In hindsight I wouldn't have bothered adding the detail on the back. it is much too hard to see through the heathered effect of the two strands held together. They're 100% wool I unwound from a couple thrift store sweaters. Very warm and cozy and I blocked them with a little cheap conditioner which really helped with the scratchiness.

Reviewing 2023:
LOVE this wallet. Never did anything else to it, since I bought a sunflower wristlet for it that said “you are loved” inside. I have since (very recently) changed it to a 6” chain in gunmetal black to match my backpack’s strap accessories.
I also of course, still use it. I intend to change the insert someday, which is an ironed and sewn card organizer from recycled wrappers.
Finished my wallet! Sorta. I may have started Friday night partying so I can’t finish the strap but the bag itself is done.
So the best part about making stuff for myself is it gets to be beta designs for future use.

I updated instagram with some current projects. These are extracurriculars to my internships so I can keep my sanity.
Here’s my first project I still need to finish. I have gunmetal rivets to add to the front pocket. It’s not even much to do, I’m just too lazy to bring out the hammer rn.
