I wasn’t going to say anything else about this but I’m a professional complainer so I will complain

This final’s grade was 30 and I got a 27 and you may think that’s a good grade but not for me that costed me an A+ and the whole reason why I got a 27 is bc my teacher “didn’t get it”

The point of the project was to make a lyrics video and that’s what I did! The lyrics is on the tv, it’s timed perfectly and on the background you can see a video filtered with Gaussian blur and some tv static so you can see the lyrics which is the whole fucking point but my teacher was expecting just a bunch of random videos and transitions that made references to the song slapped together as in the whole video is just random shit…and since most of the screen of my MV is a still image except the tv then to him it didn’t feel finished

And I’m so mad bc every little thing in the image is a fucking reference to the lyrics! Some things are references to the band! The pic tells a story! Putting the whole ass MV ON THE TV HAS MEANING AND ITS ORIGINAL SUCK MY DICK AND SHOVE YOUR 27 UP YOUR ASS

I have to make an MV for one of my finals and even though it's a very simple project I'm really proud of how it's looking so far! It's almost completed but I don't think I'll post the whole thing so ig enjoy the intro uwu

This is gonna need a lot of context but bear with me for a second bestie I’m gonna go in some tangents but it’s gonna make sense I promise

Idk if you are aware but Insomnia is gonna be animated by a person called Mariyasu, this artist has worked for Eve several times on the MVs for Inochi no Tabekata, Shinkai, Fight Song and (soon) Insomnia. Knowing this is relevant bc now I have to tell you about Tobi Otogiri. You are asking about the lore so I have to do a quick rundown on him assuming you don’t know who he is but if you already know about him you can skip the next paragraph

Tobi is the protagonist of Inochi no Tabekata and Fight Song as well as the deuteragonist of a manga called Kara no Kioku and also the protagonist of his own manga/light novel Inochi no Tabekata (same name as the song), you can tell by now he’s insanely popular in the Eve fandom, so much so Mariyasu started making silly little comics about his daily life or just funny situation he could find himself in

That last part is important bc after the Insomia trailer dropped, Mariyasu started dropping comics about Sunao Fuchi who’s gonna be the protagonist of said MV and in most of them you get bits of info about him; however what’s funny about this is that Tobi appears in some of them too, there’s even a comic of them being compared to each other. I’m explaining you all this bc it is believed as of now that they may know each other lore wise and people are expecting Tobi to appear in the MV and be part of Sunao’s story or something like that

So far there’s no lore on Sunao more than what’s been shown in those comics but if you are curious all of Eve’s MVs are filled with lore and some others are even connected to each other and the manga I mentioned earlier. Eve’s world has a lot to offer so if you liked Insomnia and don’t know more of his work it totally recommend you to check it out while you wait for the Insomia MV to drop!

The Eve universe needs an Aigis type of character me thinks…maybe I’m reading between the lines wrong but I feel both the MV universe as well as knk/int are all about our humanity and stuff and what better to portray that than a robot that can manifest a Zingai and is having an existential crisis about having feelings or whatever
