i usually don't tend to focus on the concept of there being any Lecter-Graham children because i genuinely can't see it in their future, but a concept dawned on me tonight and now i must make it your problem.

Will having a kid that no one knows about.

he gets enough flack himself from everyone without that attention being turned on his kid as well. she's young, still a toddler. likely the result of a brief fling and the mother didn't want to deal with her nor her father.

i say the kid's his daughter specifically, because maybe then Abigail strikes him a little harder. a potential horrific future for his own daughter.

he's closer with his surrounding neighbors, despite the distance, because he often needs a babysitter. his dogs being very well-behaved makes even more sense now, there's a small child around them. he sleeps on that living room cot because the one bedroom his house has is hers. his fishing lures and fly-tying equipment are kept on shelves, out of her reach.

he's slightly better about being in therapy, if only because he wishes his own father had gone, and he knows what his daughter deserves, even if the premise grates him.

losing time terrifies him even more, because he loses track of her. she's completely fine, but it scares him regardless. the idea of it being him instead of a disease is infinitely more terrifying.

she sees that her dad is "sad" a lot. she doesn't know why.

Hannibal shows up at Will's house one day because Will missed his appointment, and he couldn't be found at Quantico. He opens the door to find Will, not only having a seizure, but with a small child clinging to his arm, terrified and crying.

when they cook Bedelia's leg Will should be able to bitchily ask Hannibal "How's the wife?"

every now and then that "you're the head of the behavioral science unit, why don't you come up with your own answers if you don't like mine?" moment rotates in my mind specifically because even as Will says it he looks nervous

i need to see more fics of those eight months in season 3 where hannibal was in europe with bedelia with the events of mizumono, will’s betrayal and abigail’s murder, still burning fresh and livid in his mind like a brand no matter how hard he tries not to think about them, dreams still full of the sounds of their screams and the smell of their blood. bedelia still skirting him as though he were a lion she’s trapped herself into his cage with, learning and unlearning, familiarizing herself as best as she can with the shape of him beyond the veil. his recklessness and heartbreak giving him an edge that’s rougher, sharper, more dangerous. the pain of what happened not quite yet faded into a dull but manageable ache beneath his skin. she tries to gently broach the subject of what happened some nights over dinner and is met with silence that’s almost hostile, and she catches him most nights just standing on the balcony looking out over the seine and the arno and learns to recognize the particular silence that tells her that he is thinking about him.

I’m Christian and respect the order of creation as God intended it but I’m not gonna lie if I could take a massive vat of agar and grow an alive shopping mall made out of red blood and meat and feed it living human bodies to make it expand larger with more shops and amenities, Without hesitation, Without question I would do exactly that

not to be a sap on main but like. i think will graham deserved to throw himself into hannibal’s arms at least once just after the big escape in twotl. he deserved to just step forward and wrap his arms around hannibal and bury his face into his chest trembling all over because he’s there, he’s real, he’s solid and warm and thrumming underneath his hands, he’s with him and he’s alive—and hannibal deserves to freeze for a single stunned second when he does before catching will up against him and turning his face into the curve of his neck to breathe him in, still that same horrid aftershave that he has come to yearn for so wretchedly and adore so entirely, and they both deserve to stay like that, entwined with their hearts pounding in sync and throwing themselves against the cages of their ribs, each one longing for the other, for a single moment that lasts an eternity. like i think that would have been really nice.
