five recipes for an exciting life (in my opinion)

spending enough time creating things with your hands (baking, drawing, scrapbooking, doodling, crocheting, journaling and so on)

keeping track of things like pretty skies, milestones, happy memories, appointments you're looking forward to

listening to music that genuinely makes you feel happy and energetic

making a habit of reaching out to people in a way that's comfortable to you (i send my dad songs he might like, my friend sends me monthly life updates)

being kind to all your five senses → like investing in a scented candle or essential oil dispenser or body mist, having a soft blanket or socks (or a soft animal to pet), listening to birdsong or the rain, looking at the sky more often, and having your favorite foods enough times

hopefully this vegetable stir fry cures me of all ailments illnesses poisons worries and injures

There's a video of this gazan boy crying and talking about how he wants to step on the head of the israeli soldier that would step on his head when he held him captive. That boy is 12. I can't conceive the hatred that israeli soldiers have for these children to treat them with such barbarity. I watched that video and afterwards walked around with my hands clenched thinking about how many other children that are my brothers age and younger are being tortured and how zionists online are just gleefully denying it or laughing at these videos. I fucking hate these people for what they've done the trauma they inflicted only to go back to their lives. And this violence is endorsed by college faculty who r treated like their opinions are deserving of fair treatment while professors that endorse palestinian resistance are treated like they're crazy

Very insulting honestly the way some Israelis insist their discomfort since October 7th is on equal terms with our families' forced expulsion, land theft, killing, rape, and subsequent poverty in refugee camps and intense criminalization within foreign governments for the past 76 years. We were born into this suffering at the hands of your "country".
