SCP Foundation / Monster AU.
Summary: Tenma’s life is thrown into upheaval when he, along with his patient, are captured by unknown forces and taken to an unknown facility. He learns that his patient, a young boy whose life he saved, is a dangerous “anomaly”, and must be contained. Unwilling to let his patient fall into the suspicious hands of this “Foundation”, Tenma pledges to join their cause as a medic and watch over his former patient as a member of the facility’s staff.
Characters: Kenzo Tenma, Rudi Gillen, Johan Liebert (briefly), a handful of OCs
Rating: Teen
Content Warnings: Emotional/psychological abuse, medical torture, dehumanization, canon typical violence
Notes: This is related to the SCP AU post I made a while back with brief bits on the characters. This fic basically covers the blanks for Tenma’s past - the stuff he “can’t remember” from his early life in the Foundation, and why he can’t remember it. And why Gillen has so much guilt about Tenma.

Short comic based on an AU RP I’ve been writing with a friend for a good 2 years now (more???). In this AU Grimmer is an SCP created by Kinderheim and subjected to inhumane experiments, and Tenma is a medic responsible for ensuring that SCPs continue to survive and, if possible, thrive in their captive environment.
Grimmer sees some spark of humanity in Tenma, and starts trying to unravel him from the Foundation to recruit his help in staging an escape. It all goes downhill from there.
This scene is taken from the very beginning of the RP, the first time they meet.

Guriten AU Masterpost
Hi if you found this blog this is where I write about Monster AUs (largely with a Grimmer/Tenma focus) and share stuff that makes me think of those AUs. I’ll try to keep this post up to date with a brief description of each of the AUs in question and the relevant tag for them.
Active RPs
POST-CANON AU: Post-canon where Grimmer survives thanks to Tenma’s efforts; it’s been several months since Grimmer was released from hospital, and he and Tenma have been working to piece together his past. Fatefully, one day they encounter an abandoned infant and take care of her. It soon becomes apparent that this will not be a temporary engagement for them as she becomes a member of their family.

VAMPIRE AU: Tenma and Grimmer cross the divide between vampires and vampire hunters. Grimmer has become disillusioned with the apathetic killings undertaken by hunting guilds, and Tenma vows not to drink a human’s blood. They meet on happenstance; Tenma hears a commotion in the woods, and saves an unknown human from a vampire attack, only to realize he’d just taken the dreaded Wolf into his home. However, the two rely on one another and come to understand and even realize they are mutually drawn to each other.

SPY THRILLER AU: Tenma is still in college at this point, and Grimmer is a spy. In this AU Tenma and some classmates get caught up in a politically-motivated attack that puts him in danger and forces him into hiding. He crosses paths with Grimmer on happenstance, and Grimmer, who has his own reasons for his involvement, decides to go out of his way to help Tenma who is clearly in over his head. At first Tenma is wary, but they form a tentative alliance and much-needed friendship.

SCP FOUNDATION AU: Grimmer is an SCP created by Kinderheim and recently captured by the Foundation after a violent altercation in which he killed four people. Tenma is a medic, who has no memory of his past prior to working for the Foundation. Grimmer sees some amount of humanity in Tenma, and works toward pulling him out of the cold callousness of the Foundation, with the hopes of finding an ally to help him escape. It works, but at great cost for both, and escape seems next to impossible.
