"Ohhhh.... is that soooo?"
"Still I bet it's not important enough for me to care! But I may as well indulge some low tier, no wait... bottom tier like you!"
”Huuuuh? Low tier?" How wrong she would be. "Ooooh, noooo!! You’ve got that totally wrong! It’s sooo funny when people are wrong, you know?" In jest, she pokes out her tongue, another façade pictured by yours truly. "You wanna know why I noticed? It’s, like, super important that I tell you!”
And may no one ever know.

At this point Aila really wondered if this man WAS the real deal, but she had met mages already in this city, it... could be possible that this guy... actually was Tierria D. Erde. She gulped, tilting her head. Maybe it was best to answer with her complete truth. Her hand went to her leather model holder at her waist. It was nice of the scientists to provide them with their gunpla, but they even gave her a case for it.
Pulling out her model she held it towards the A.I.
"It's laughable in size... but, this is what we pilot. Not for... military operations! But more like, a game..." She hated calling it that. Every time she piloted the Quebley it hurt her head. Her head split and she'd go berserk. Crushing her opponents with total disregard, and after, never remember a thing.
"There's actually a hobby shop around the corner.... I could show you if you'd like, surprisingly there's a 1/144 scale of your mobile suit too...I'm Aila, by the way...!"
The last time other pilots had been briefed in CB matters, things hadn’t turned out so well - let’s hope the City’s next surprise in store for him wasn’t a repeat of the Trinity’s case. It seemed both bizarre and quite extraordinary that Celestial Being’s influence had extended even beyond dimensional planes.
Putting suspicions to rest to be reinvestigated at a later date if need be, he gave a nod in indication of his willingness to drop the subject.
"I agree."
"So, I’m curious - Exactly what type of mobile suits do pilots navigate back in your cosmos? Gunpla, I believe you called them.”

Aila shifted her weight to her back foot, holding onto her arm. This was a little unnerving. Maybe she shouldn't destroy everything he knew and held dear. Telling someone they weren't real wasn't exactly good manners...
"Um.... well... it's just...."
"I'm a uhhhh pilot, too! Of course we were briefed on the members of the armed forces company known as Celestial Being...!! But seeing as how we're not in our dimension, it's best to put it behind us!"
If there was one way of unnerving a member of a highly covert operation whose identity was supposed to be strictly confidential - then interjecting both his name and profession in one hit was a sure method of achieving that.
Previously neutral expressing falling into more a troubled frown, Tieria would have been quick to start grilling the woman on how she’d come by this information had it not been for the puzzling remark of -
"Mobile Suite series?" Did she mean, a series of Gundams maybe? The manner in which she lightly dropped her knowledge about him wasn’t exactly characteristic of a spy, very odd.
"Would you care to explain exactly how you know about me?"

"Oh, thank you... Well, it's not any different from any other city I know. There's nothing in particular to like or dislike.... yet."
"Aila? That’s a very pretty name." He hummed to himself. "How are you doing? Do you like the city?"

"See? That's a lot better. I'm Aila Jyrkiäinen. A pleasure to meet you." She paused. "...there's no deeper meaning to that."
"A name would be ideal. I’m Kaworu. Kaworu Nagisa."

"Let me rephrase that. What do you want from me?"
Aila wasn't one for philosophical debates, her wording was always coarse and direct when she wasn't putting on her delicate and polite facade.
"Perhaps. Perhaps not. Is the offer one of genuine altruism, or is it a mere courtesy? Not that there’s anything wrong with the latter. It’s what allow society to function in tandem. An intricate web of good-intentioned lies…"

"Because I don't want or accept anything painful, willingly, but acknowledge its existence? Or because I noticed the capacity of the city and refuse to watch others suffer and take enjoyment out of it? Like I said! I'm no masochist, but I guess I should also say I'm not a sadist either!"
"…hypocrite."

"Sorry. I'm just not used to...being called something like that."
"That's about right. I haven't actually seen the show myself... but It's more of a political war thing from what I gather. No aliens or monsters..."
"Yes you, who else would my voice be directed at miss?"
"Oh uhm…so you build toys and duel with them? is that correct for this is what I’m getting. A show that involve giant robots though! That seems most exciting do they fight sea monsters the dredge themselves through the ocean?"

"Young maiden...? Huh...?"
"Do you mean me...? Well, let's see.... Gundams are from a silly cartoon show, they're giant robots that fight each other... In my world we build the plastic counterpart equivalents and fight with them."
"Ahah! Excuse me young maiden!"
"But what in the world is a Gundam?"
