— “nico I just want a kiss!!” levi screeches indignantly because nico is a little shit who absolutely loves to tease levi and drive him insane because levi is so so needy lmao and constantly wants kisses but knows he can never reach his tall boyfriend so levi’s just constantly whining at nico until nico finally gives in and bends down and kisses his tiny boyfriend

— levi’s literal favorite place in the whole entire world is in the crook of nico’s neck because it’s just so safe and familiar and he feels so protected with all of nico enveloping him

— when they watch tv at night levi always curls into a ball and sits in nico’s lap because he’s just that small compared to his boyfriend and he can lay his head on nico’s shoulder and curl against his chest

— nico is soooo protective of levi. when they’re walking anywhere and there’s large crowds, nico instinctively pulls levi to his side away from the all the conflict and uses his entire body to shield his small boyfriend and press him against his body. levi thinks it’s the most thoughtful thing ever and he always grasps his hands around nico’s waist and grabs onto nico to stay close to him

— fore. head. kisses. because Levi’s head reaches exactly where Nico’s lips are and all nico has to do is pretty much just move forward to kiss Levi’s forehead or hair and it’s Nico’s favorite way of showing affection towards levi because it’s not only easy but it’s also such a simple way to show he’s there and he cares that he’s okay and having a good time

— levi wants to hug nico all the time like all the time whether he’s had a terrible day or maybe they’re just walking opposite ways in the mornings at the hospital because they have different things to do, levi always has to hug nico because when he presses his face into nico’s chest he can smell him and also levi’s just surrounded by nico who has always made him feel so comforted and happy like no one ever has before

— hugs from behind!! when levi’s cooking or washing dishes and levi just gets to feel the pressure around his waist and feel nico against his entire backside and then nico brings his head down to rest on levi’s shoulder and they get to nuzzle and the warmth and familiarity and just comforting presence of nico wrapped around him calms levi like no other

so levi loves wearing nico’s clothes, the smell of him reminds levi of nico’s presence when he’s working late at the hospital or when he’s away for a conference of some kind

it’s especially helpful when levi gets a really bad cold one week and he’s basically just completely useless to the world because he’s congested and nauseous and he’s like hacking up a lung every five minutes

so when levi comes staggering out of the room that nico just put him to bed in, nico’s confused like wtf why are you up you need to be in bed resting

but levi only whines and is like I can’t fucking sleep my lungs won’t stop collapsing in on themselves

so nico just sighs and lets levi crawl into his lap because that’s the only thing he wants to do and nico is just like ok you can stay here and watch tv with me

nico starts to protest though when levi begins using the sleeve of his old college sweatshirt as a snot rag for his runny nose

like “babe I really love that you like wearing my clothes but why must you do this when you’re sick”

and levi can only shrug and burrow deeper into nico’s chest mumbling something about idk your stuff comforts me and he pulls the sweatshirt he’s wearing tighter around himself like he wants nothing more than to just get lost in the feeling of nico around him

and how is nico supposed to respond to that really? he only wraps his arms a bit tighter around levi, holds him a little closer, and presses a kiss to his forehead that’s resting against his chest and smiles a little to himself because how could he ever deny this man anything

and they stay like that for a while until levi finally does fall asleep to the familiar breathing of his boyfriend, the rise and fall of his chest, and the background noise of whatever episode it is that nico is watching

later on nico carries him bridal-style back to the bed he was supposed to be in originally and he wraps himself around the smaller man, falling asleep within minutes to the even breathing of his boyfriend in his arms

Nico was walking through the threshold of his apartment with Levi by his side, eyes bright and laughing at a terrible joke Nico told him. The were coming back from a date. It was Levi’s choice tonight and he wanted to take Nico to the arcade by where he grew up. It was the most fun he’d had in a while, no one could wipe the grin off his face.

Nico put their prizes that they won on the kitchen counter and grabbed two beers from the fridge, twisting them open before he sat down on the couch next to his boyfriend. “I can’t believe you got 300 more tickets than me, how is that even possible?” Nico asked.

“Two words. Jackpot baby!!” Levi let out the most beautiful belly laugh. “But seriously, I have been playing those machines for over a decade, I know which buttons to push to get what I want.” One corner of his mouth lifted into a smirk that should be banned for being so enticing.

Nico put his beer down on the coffee table and pulled Levi toward him so that the younger man was sitting between his legs. He leaned in, pushing a few strands of hair behind his lovers ear and whispered, “Yeah, you know what buttons to push?” He ran one hand up Levi’s leg stopping just below his mid thigh. He heard a sharp intake of breath from the younger man.

“Yeah, like I know if,” he moved to the other side of the couch leaving and empty space under where Nico’s hand was. “I move over here you will fight it for so long to come follow me because you’re stubborn and don’t like to admit defeat. So maybe I will just stay here on this side of the couch by myself.” Levi smirked, and Nico thought, two could play that game.

Nico took another sip of his beer, making sure Levi followed the line of his jaw to his Adam’s apple as he swallowed. He took off his leather jacket, showing off his burgundy henley in the process. And maybe he flexed his biceps a little while reaching for his beer again. He noticed Levi lick his lips, and man did that drive him crazy. So he decided to fight fire with fire. “Is it getting hot in here?” He said as he pulled his shirt off.

Levi bit his bottom lip before he spoke, “You see that’s cheating. Like I could take off this jacket.” He said while removing the floral bomber jacket that Nico absolutely adored. “But you, you’ve got all that.” He said as he gestured toward Nico, little did he know what he did to this man. Nico was just about to say something, when he noticed Levi squirming in his seat, trying desperately to adjust his jeans.

“Fuck.” Nico said quietly to himself, Levi might be stubborn but he wasn’t giving up this opportunity. So he caved, Nico’s knees slid across the fabric of the couch, his hands leading him until he was hovering over a panting Levi. He wasted no time crashing their mouths together, grabbing Levi’s waist so that their bodies were flush. He couldn’t take it anymore, so he moved his hands so they were under his lover’s thighs and hoisted him up. He stood up quickly, without breaking their kiss, letting Levi wrap his legs around his waist. He walked to his bedroom, slamming the door with the hand that wasn’t under his boyfriend’s ass.

Nico fell back into the pillows, his breathing still laboured. After a few moments to recover he reached over to wrap his arms around Levi, nuzzling his face into his boyfriend’s neck. “I love you babe.”

“Mmmm, I love you too.” Levi turned around so he was facing Nico. “I wish we could live together already, than I wouldn’t have to leave right now.”

“Move in! Here. You’re here all the time anyway, and it’s closer to the hospital, and it would mean I wouldn’t have to say goodbye.” Nico have Levi a soft smile, he hadn’t planned on asking him, but he couldn’t bring himself to regret it.

“You serious?”

“100%” Nico couldn’t stop the grin from spreading over his face, neither could Levi. Nico brought his boyfriend into a fiery kiss before celebrating a different way.
