One of my favourite Luke scenes in the books when he's still at chb is when he starts teaching percy sord fighting, and percy is immediately better than him at it. And it would have been so easy for him to be grouchy and bitter about it and try and humiliate percy, and that's quite what percys expecting, be he doesn't, he is so happy for percy that he has found something he's good at, he works with him and helps him get better.
And, obviously, it's kinda fake, because luke is working with Kronos. But percy wasn't claimed yet. So I don't think it's that far away from the "real luke" either.

it’s a shame a design element as fun as the grey streaks are just put in the same spot all the time. so have my placements and the reasoning behind them (because it wouldn’t be a percexe design without cramming character significance into every little detial)
