Hello! I'm sorry to bother you. Unfortunately I haven't found a solution anywhere, I just hope you are helping me:) I'm using HQ mode. If I download a kitten or a dog from the gallery whose creator drew the fur himself, they will unfortunately be black. This problem is only with Hq mod. If I turn it off, the kitten's texture will return. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or not. I downloaded all the HQ game textures I found on the goggle drive folder. Thank you for your help!🌹
Hey! The issue is caused by the same thing why your game crashes once you try to paint a pet while using HQ - the pet textures are created in non-hq by default. The only way to use custom painted furs is to extract their textures, convert them to HQ and make them an accessory for pets to wear - unfortunately there is no other way to use custom painted pets in HQ mode, since we can’t tell the game to create HQ textures while painting.

Good evening :) HQ mod is updated for patch 1.69.59 (basegame only). EP/GP/SP will be added later.
Added new lrle files so you can use hue/saturation/bright sliders (standard basegame things). Big thanks to CmarNYC, tau534 for lrle converter, andrew for S4S :)

Hi, When I place the SGR file in the Config folder I get an error but when I remove it from the folder my game starts just fine, the error is: Unable to start: there was an error processing the startup configuration script, [6d1778b8:1df4e8dc:00000000:912c9c10] how can I fix this? I always used the old method for HQ mod and I'm not sure if I understand this fully...

I've updated the file and it works fine now, so please re-download 😊

HQ mod since June patch
I don’t know if anyone else wrote about this, but as you could notice, HQ mod doesn’t work since June patch. The problem is new file types they added - lrle. I don’t know program to work with them atm and they are broke HQ mod because standard eyes use them now. What you can do? Just use this nice Fixer by CmarNyc (thank you for that!) for default replacement eyes you have, it should help.
If you use standard eyes, repair file BaseGameTexturesForHQ\EyeColor_d.package

HQ-Mod - working again.
At least in my case.
Well, I summarized what I did to make it work again and so far everything works like a dream for me and a friend of mine, so. Maybe you should give it a try.
Please read carefully if you plan to follow this small guide, it’s actually not that hard and no magic in there. Just includes some downloading and careful default replacement management.
