Woops I forgot one.
This one was paired with the clay hand and candle.

Honestly the design I did for the tarot cart is a bit weak, but the burning of paper for the other one was cool.
These were the last ones I did and that shows.
Even if I never turned this in, I felt every emotion of then and now as I look at these.

I think I’ll just post them together from now on.
These are about the vaccine obviously. This was for the first one.
I wanted to show the grayscale with the hope, arrogance, and ignorance.
This was likely late 2020 or early 2021.

I wanted to add a couple of physical elements to this series then.
I think this was definitely establishing that the theme was also going to be including hands, fire, and me going to make the most colorful mixed media series of art that I’ve done.
(All the others were single pieces)
These two pictures wip of me making it out of cheap air-dry clay

I think this one is one of my favorites to have colored. A burning desire.
The paper one was hard but rewarding to do.
I think I was going for spider webs and glass. The picture for this one wasn’t as good, but I want to keep it the way I would have turned it in.
I inverted the colors on the hand for the right one due to parallels.
One reaching outwards to the mental hope and the other reaching inwards to the physical core of our being.
I just noticed the dog hair. Woops.

This is the card that was paired with my first piece.
Its quite colorful for the card I admit, but I usually am more reserved with coloring nowadays. Except for fire. Coloring fire is fun.

Counterpart to the Fool. This was during a peak in covid rates while also during the protests. News of people being attacked as they protested peacefully, mandates rolling out as tensions grew.

Counterpart piece to the Star Card. It felt like this during the BLM protest when seen from afar. Too scared to go outside and too worried about my family being separated due to the pandemic. Watching people march for something that a country constantly lied about truly having, the people putting matters into their own hands.

First Tarot card I did for my art series based off of the year 2020.
Wanted to play on the irony that The Fool represents new beginnings or journeys.

Oh. My first and failed bread a couple of years ago.
I remember it tasted fine, but it was too dense and the outer crust too hard.

Forgor. Part of that series I made in 2020. Tarot Card of The Star. Used this as icon pic.
I paired two pieces together in this series. One a painting or mixed media, the other a Tarot Card I handmade.

The Slight Demoralization
Electronic device crashes while you were working on something. The fear of unknowing how much progress you have lost. That common pain of
“Why is the display glitching? Oh no. Fuck. Fuck.”
as the screen turns dark. As you turn it back on, the fear grips you while you are seeing the aftermath.
Whether it be safe, salvageable, or sunk to be lost in the sea of code and data, the initial dread consumes you.

Some hands I drew back in 2020.

Hm. Hello.
Gonna put my art that isn’t fanart or pictures and stuff here, I guess.
Miscellaneous things idk.
#Poorly Handled is just a series of art pieces I never turned in for school. Based upon the year that was 2020.
