okay TRUE but i feel like it depends on his mental state. “classic” angels bring him comfort when his brain starts acting up, while biblically accurate angels remind him of God’s omnipotence when he doubts Him. and also theyre way more interesting yes
Athelstan would be ALL OVER biblically accurate angels. Grits his teeth any time an "angel" is depicted or described as anything but a giant glowing wheel covered in feathers. Obsessively sketches circles of eyes in his notebooks.
