hey, it's been a while
hello <33 so.... it's been about a year since i went on hiatus for this blog... and a year since i've stopped writing for star trek. i just wanted to hop on one last time (now that i remember my login info) and thank the 287 blogs who still follow me here, and to everyone who still likes/rbs my old fics... it really means a lot to me.
it was a wonderful journey writing for star trek, i learned a lot and i am very thankful for all the notes. i'm very happy i was able to make others happy with my works.
i'm not going to write anymore here on this blog, but if anyone happens to be a fan of the video game genshin impact, i'm writing a bunch of x reader fics for it over on @/hqrbinger.

366 Reblog Challenge! Feb Masterlist
Tumblr media
Better to put the master together as I go along so I can publish each one at the end of the month, my Jan master list was like 95% Bucky so I’m going to try and diversify and look at other characters and fandoms and try to find new authors (and revisit catalogues of the ones I haven’t read in a while).
This challenge is forcing me to consistently be reblogging and writing comments and I’m getting positive responses for a lot of writers so it’s absolutely worthwhile to join this challenge if you haven’t!
But even if you don’t want to partake in the challenge, consider reblogging instead of liking, it takes so little time and means so much to the writers! Banner is @beccaanne814 and you can find he challenge details HERE

Your writing style is very good and the stories are satisfactorily long and therefore very pleasant to read. I can't wait to read your next works, and you can certainly expect a lot of requests from me, because I have a lot of ideas :)

Quietly (Spock x Wife!Reader) [Request!!]
Tumblr media
“Hi! I’m a huge fan of Star Trek as well, and it’s funny that I’m close to your age! I’ll be sixteen very soon. I was wondering if perhaps you would write a Spock x Wife! Reader fic where Spock’s wife is generally very nervous and quiet, but very sweet, and she deals with a lot of Anxiety and Insomnia? And perhaps he tries to comfort her and aid her in sleep and being calmer? It would really be great bc I deal with both of those on the daily :) thx, LY! Live Long and Prosper, friend! ❤️ ~R”
Hiiii R!! This is so crazy because we are basically the same person omg. I’ve been meaning to write something like this for the longest time and then you requested!!! Stay strong sister!! Live Long and Prosper :D

You felt a warm hand on your shoulder, gently coaxing you awake. No, it couldn’t be morning already, could it? You had only just dipped your toes in the intoxicating pool that was sleep; how could it be over so soon?
Your eyes peeked open and you were met with a lovely image of your husband leaning over you, the slightest smile on his lips.
“Good morning,” Spock pressed a small kiss on your cheek before settling himself back down, head resting in the crook of your neck. You reached up to run your slender fingers through his soft hair, bliss soaring through your veins. Despite your lack of sleep, you would be happy to wake up like this any day.
But, alas, it was all over so soon. Your fantasy of waking up on Earth to the sun shining through your bedroom window curled up next to Spock felt so close, yet so far. Space was your passion, but Spock was your home. You knew which one felt more important.
Spock sat up and rolled out of the bed, stretching.
“Did you sleep?” He had learned that it wasn’t a question of if you slept ‘well’ anymore. He still asked every morning, but he always knew the answer.
You frowned, shaking your head. Spock pulled his Starfleet shirt over his head before bending over the bed to kiss you quickly.
“I’m certain the doctor could prescribe some melatonin or a similar medical remedy to ease your situation.” And, every morning, he tried to offer help for your condition. It was endearing, truly, but you wished he would just quit mentioning it altogether.
“Thank you, but you know I don’t react well with medication,” you replied, yawning and dragging yourself up. You pulled off your sleep shirt and tugged your red dress over your head as you walked to the bathroom, giving Spock a kiss on the cheek as you strode past him.
“Are you prepared for the away mission tomorrow?” he called from the bedroom.
Shit. Your heart dropped with such force your knees felt weak. Shit shit shit!! Your mind immediately went into overdrive and suddenly you were spiraling down a rabbit hole of different scenarios - all ending with either your death, Spock’s death, or just death in general. What if you got attacked? What if you killed everyone else in a shuttle crash and you had to live with the guilt for the rest of your life? There were so many things that could go wrong; one misstep, one miscalculation -you shook your head violently, snapping yourself out of it. You gripped the counter tightly and started taking deep breaths. It's fine. You were going to be just fine. Yeah... fine. It’s nothing. You were only going to be operating a shuttlecraft with twelve people aboard for the first time, three of which were your best friends. Fine. Just fine.
You had barely noticed your hairbrush slip from your other hand until the clatter shook you from your thoughts. Spock rushed in without missing a beat, placing a comforting hand on your back. Using his other hand, he brushed stray hairs from your eyes and lifted your chin up so he could meet your gaze. This wasn’t the first time he was there to ease you back down to reality.
“Hey, Hey. You are going to be okay,” he cooed softly, rubbing circles on your back. You shut your eyes and took a long, deep breath.
“I will be with you for the duration of the mission,” he reassured you. “I promise you, I will not leave your side.”
You felt relieved, but a lingering sense of unease remained. You threw your arms around your husband before pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
“Thank you,” you beamed up at him. “Really, you don’t need to do this.”
“There is nothing I wouldn’t do to help you, [y/n],” the smallest of smiles danced on his lips. He gave you a quick kiss on your forehead before exiting the bathroom, letting you finish getting ready. You bent down, picking up the hairbrush, frowning at the cracked handle. You would have to put that on the list of things to grab at the next starbase.
As you brushed your hair anyway, you thought hard about your schedule for the day, planning out things to do to avoid dwelling on the events tomorrow would hold too much. It worked, A little.
As you were putting the finishing touches on your morning routine, Spock poked his head in.
“Are you ready to leave?”
“Yep.” You sighed heavily, smoothing nonexistent wrinkles from your uniform. Before you could stop yourself, you turned away from the mirror and headed for the door, grabbing Spock’s hand and pulling him into the hallway.
                                                        ᓚᘏᗢ
After you and Spock ate breakfast, you went down to engineering for your job assignment. Unfortunately, Scotty didn’t have much for you to do, so you did ensign-level jobs for him to pass the time. Anything to quell the storm that was your anxiety.
You had tried so many times to find remedies for your condition; work, sleep, staying as busy as possible. Hell, Spock had quickly become a coping mechanism for you and was more successful than any of your other less-desirable options. Unfortunately, since he was a real person and an officer, he couldn’t be there for you all the time as you worked on opposing ends of the ship. This typically ended up with you spiraling and having to pull yourself out on your own.
Out of your four options, work was probably the least effective. There was too much time to think; too much time for your demons to sink their claws into your brain. And, since the one person who was able to fully calm you down was unreachable, escape was sometimes impossible.
Scotty had given you the small job of making sure the heating and cooling pipes on the starboard side of engineering and since the job was oh-so-simple, there was way too much time for your mind to wander. You tried so hard, you really did, to think about anything else, but the looming mission continued to push itself to the forefront of your mind. It wasn’t long before it would take over you once again.
                                                        ᓚᘏᗢ
You didn’t know how long you had been lying awake. The minutes ticked by like days, seconds passed like hours. Spock was curled around you tightly, trying to make you feel safe enough to sleep and it had worked for a little while, but fear had wound itself into a tight knot in your stomach. You had never been assigned to an away mission before and you were absolutely terrified out of your mind. Horror stories of officers going missing, getting mauled or eaten by monstrous aliens, dying painful, horrific deaths in any way you could imagine plagued your thoughts. You remembered back to the instructional class about manning a shuttle, the sole reason you were going on the mission, and your stomach lurched at the thought of the graphic photos they had shown of shuttle crashes during the safety portion of the course. Panic started building in your chest, your legs began to shake and you knew what was coming. You tried not to wake Spock, but a sob you had tried to contain wrenched its way out of your mouth as some sort of strangled gasp and your husband was instantly awake and leaning over you. You heard him speaking to you, but the only sounds you were able to make were choked cries and before you knew it you were in the midst of a full-on breakdown. Panic set your body on fire, lightning-fast images of possible outcomes to the mission flashed across your eyes, tears streaming down your face as you bawled into Spock’s bare chest.
“I can’t!” you sobbed over and over. “I can't!”
Spock had never held you so tightly, grasping across your back with one hand, the other tangled in your hair, clutching you into his chest. He rocked you softly as you started calming down, humming soft tunes in your ear as your wails turned to sniffles. Despite your trouble sleeping, mere minutes after you had stopped crying you had fallen asleep.
Spock didn’t let go of you for the rest of the night. He leaned back down on the bed, curling back around you and holding you close. He contemplated canceling the away mission until you were more up for it, but he decided it would probably be best to discuss it with you in the morning.
He eventually drifted off, only to wake a mere two hours later to the sound of your alarms. He quickly shut them off, not wanting to wake you since you had finally gotten the sleep you so desperately needed. Without moving too much as to wake you, Spock reached for his padd and canceled the mission anyway, as well as excusing himself and you from duty for the day. You needed your rest, especially after a night like the one you had just experienced and he knew he needed to be there for you.
He set the padd back down on the bedside table before climbing back under the covers and wrapping his arms around you. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. He loved you, after all.

this is so cute!! i love it!!! :D
Leonard “Bones” McCoy (Star Trek TOS/AOS)
Your small shared home is filled with soft sounds of music, coming from a small radio in the kitchen. It’s your first shore leave as Mrs. McCoy and you are focused on making it the time of your life. Your dining room is more crowded than usually – both your and Bones’ parents are sitting there, sharing awkward stories of your husband and your youth. You hear a quiet groan behind your back and look over your shoulder. Your husband, now with flushed cheeks and his brown hair plastered on his forehead, rolls your eyes and shoots you an annoyed look: “We should have invited them for lunch only. Not before lunch.”
“Come on, give them some time.”
“They are roasting us in there, Y/N/N.”
You approach him, wrapping your arms softly around him and leaning your head on his firm back. He covers your small hands with his and you can hear him let out a content sigh.
“Is there something I shouldn’t hear? Hm?”
You can almost see him rolling his eyes as his chest rumbles with quiet chuckle. He gently unwraps your arms from around him and turns around. You are now face to face and you can’t help but to wonder how did you end up with him.
Those smart, intelligent eyes with a mischievous spark that was long forgotten, those perfect lips, now curved into a small smile,… everything on him.
“Is there something in your past I shouldn’t know about?”
“Not that I can remember,” you grin and quickly step on your tiptoes to peck his lips quickly.
He crooks his brow slightly: “Not that you can remember?”
“Hey, I am old, I don’t remember every detail of my life.”
“Yeah. Right. You are old.”
With a small giggle, you kiss him again, this time your lips lingering on his for a bit longer. You can feel him soften as he snakes an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You pull apart, hardly separating from him, and he gently pushes a strand of your hair behind your ear before planting a soft peck on your forehead. A soft hum leaves his lips and you close your eyes, completely giving in the moment.
“Y/N/N, is everything okay in there?” your mother’s voice reaches the two of you and your abruptly pull apart.
“Yes! We…we will be joining you soon, the food is almost prepared.”
You look at Bones, who nods in the direction of a pot in front of him. It smells like heaven and you are thankful a man you married can also cook. He has insisted on preparing this dish today, as it is his late grandmother’s recipe.
“It smells wonderful, Bones.”
“It will get cold if we don’t hurry.”

Lonely (Jim Kirk x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Jim’s constant playing starts to get the best of you.
Hi everyone!! Its been a while since I’ve written anything that hasn’t been a request, but I’ve run out!! Send me more!!! This is a callout for me personally lol and it really helped me realize the things I’ve been doing to myself for a stupid guy oops. Originally there wasn’t supposed to be anything happy at all in this, but as a reader, I would be unsatisfied so I made it reciprocated :) I hope you all like it!!
Trigger Warnings: hella angst, swearing, self-hatred Word Count:1885

You sat there in the crowded mess hall, pressed up against your closest friends on the ship, but you had never in your life felt this lonely. You could see him from across the room, sitting awfully close to a pretty blonde ensign, grinning. Your heart wrenched painfully in your chest, forcing you to look away. The crew was celebrating a successful diplomatic mission, where the captain, yet again, was able to cleverly captivate the queen of another possible federation ally. Yeah. He had probably slept with her or something.
You and Jim had a painful relationship. For you, anyway.
You weren’t sure how much longer you were going to be able to take it. You had been working on the bridge with him for almost a year, and you had caught feelings quicker than you wanted to and you weren’t going to lie; it scared you. You were afraid of how much you loved him, just because he gave you some attention one time. You knew that you were just another name on the long list of girls that fell into his charming trap. You felt ashamed.
When you glanced back over to Jim’s table to find them kissing, you felt sick. You hadn’t noticed that your friends had all moved away from where you had been sitting, so it was easy for you to slip away unnoticed. Tears began burning in the back of your throat as the doors to the mess hissed open, letting a chilled wave of fresher air cool your skin. You started to feel better. You decided to head for the observation deck, since the system the ship was flying through was rumored to be particularly beautiful. Anything to get your mind off of Jim.
You stopped by your quarters quickly to change into something a bit more comfortable than your uniform.
You hugged your arms into your chest as you walked down the cold empty hallways. You had thought his sudden interest in you was actual interest, not just some phase that he would soon grow out of. Were you simply not good enough for him to want to stay? After you had kissed for the first time you were sure that it had meant something, even though you both had been drunk, but when he never brought it up you became unsure. The thought that maybe he had just forgotten it had even happened, or worse, didn’t even realize it was you that he kissed, but you didn’t want that option.
You couldn’t help but feel that you just weren’t enough for him. After he started distancing himself from you, unfamiliar self-consciousness started to descend on you like a plague. You started scrutinizing every little thing about yourself; your hair, your facial features- even the most minuscule and irrelevant things like your jawline and the color of nail polish you wore. You started changing, probably not for the better, and suddenly the only thing that mattered was getting Jim’s attention to re-spark his interest. You started feeling disgusted by your body and started feeling anxious about how you dressed. Even conversation became something that concerned you and you had become cautious even of the things you spoke about. The only thing you started caring about was impressing him. It never worked. It was eating you alive.
The doors to the observatory slid open and your eyes widened. The system was breathtaking. It almost pushed Jim from your mind. You settled down on a plush couch in front of the window and gazed into the stars.
                                                       ᓚᘏᗢ
Jim felt empty. He had tried to find distraction from his issues in any way possible, but nothing worked; not even his everlasting love of pursuing women. He had found the blonde ensign in the midst of the party, easily pulling her under his spell. He tried to enjoy being around her, but he lost interest as soon as he spotted her in the crowd. He had been worried about her for the past few days; she didn’t look like herself. She sat by herself sipping on a drink one of her friends had given her, staring off into space. It wasn’t like her to spend a party by herself.
Jim kept his eye on her for most of the night, sending her glances now and then to make sure she didn’t leave with someone.
Maybe it wasn’t fair of him. He knew that he had feelings for her, but he didn’t want to pressure her. He knew it was a mistake to kiss her that night. He felt like he had taken advantage of her since they were both wasted and he thought that never speaking of it would make it go away. It didn’t, for him at least. He wasn't sure how she stood on the kiss, but he started noticing after it had happened that she started acting differently. He couldn’t put his finger on it.
Jim knew he wasn’t good for her. He didn’t know if he was ready for commitment, though he wanted to be with her so badly. So, instead of facing his problems, he ran from them. He started to distance himself from her and no matter how many times he had told himself that it was to keep her safe, it still felt like a lie. He noticed that she didn’t take his distance well. He felt terrible.
He had been lost in thought, and barely registered it when the blonde kissed him. Jim lightly moved her off of him and grabbed her hand. The girl was wasted as fuck, and Jim didn’t want to leave her by herself. He looked one more time to where [y/n] was sitting to find her seat empty. His heart dropped. She couldn’t have seen them kiss, did she? Or worse yet, leave with someone else?
He pulled the blonde out of the mess and escorted her back to her quarters. He didn’t intend on going back to the party, not if she wasn’t there. Instead, he decided to just take a walk through the empty halls and enjoy the silence.
Shaking his head, Jim rounded a corner to find the doors to the observation room open. Curious, he poked his head inside to see who was in there. His breath hitched in his throat.
She was sitting there, beautiful as ever, gazing at the stars with her back turned to him. He didn’t know what to say.
Before he could decide, however, the motion sensor of the door activated and the doors started to close, the hissing noise startling her. She jumped and turned around, eyes wide as they met Jim’s.
“Hey,” he breathed.
                                                      ᓚᘏᗢ
You were frozen. Internally, you were freaking out since you were in your loungewear and your hair was a mess and Jim was standing right in front of you, but your face was stuck looking like a lost puppy. Finally, though, you were able to force words out of your mouth.
“Jim?” you cocked your head. “What are you doing here?”
Jim’s mouth opened and then closed again. He had absolutely no idea what to say.
“Shouldn’t you be celebrating?” You asked, getting nervous. Was he uncomfortable speaking with you one on one? Did he wish it was someone else in that room?
He blinked and shook his head. “Ah- Um- Yeah, I guess,” he stumbled. “I just needed some air and I saw that someone left the door open-” He cut himself off. “I’m sorry-”
“No, you’re fine-”
He sighed. “Can I start over?”
You nodded, patting the space next to you. He sat down.
“Listen [y/n],” he paused. “I don’t know what’s come between us lately, but I want you to know that I miss you.”
You blinked at him in shock, butterflies erupting in your stomach.
“I... missed you too,” you nodded, smiling.
Jim grinned back.
“I value our friendship a lot, and I hope that whatever came between us-”
“This is about the kiss, isn’t it,” Jim cut you off. Your heart dropped. “Listen, if you wish it was someone else, or feel bad about it-"
"No! No," you interrupted. "Seriously, that's not it."
"Then tell me what's going on," he pressed.
"I can't," you said quietly.
"Why not?" he continued. "[y/n], you can tell me anything."
"Jim, stop pressing me."
"I can't help if you don't tell me-"
"It's because I like you!" you snapped.
His eyes widened. "Why didn't you just tell me ages ago?"
"Because you don't feel the same way," you looked away.
"But that's not true," Jim reached for your hand. "I like you [y/n]."
You moved away from him. "That doesn't change anything."
"Why not?" he frowned. "We can be together now. If that's what you want."
"I want that," you, said quietly.
"Then what's holding you back?" he reached out again and you turned on him, eyes blazing.
"Because, Jim. When we kissed that night, you never brought it up. I thought we had something, even back then, but you made me feel like it was nothing to you. I felt like nothing to you," you seethed. "Then, to make it worse, you pushed me away and started flirting around with other girls right in front of me. Do you know how that made me feel, Jim? I felt worthless. And the stupid thing is that I still miss you like crazy," your words started getting caught in your throat. "I think about you all the time, and I want to be with you."
Jim stared at you, a flabbergasted look on his face.
"But I can't," you looked away.
"I had no idea I made you feel that way," Jim whispered. "I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. You were really drunk, and I wasn't as much and I felt like I had crossed a line. I had no idea you felt that way for me. If I had, I would have told you I had feelings a long, long time ago."
He moved a little closer. This time you didn't flinch.
"I distanced myself from you because I thought you didn't feel the same for me. I thought that maybe the kiss had freaked you out, and I wanted to give you space. I swear that I never, ever wanted to hurt you." He took your hand, running his thumb over your knuckled. "I could barely take being away from you. Trust me, I couldn't stop thinking of you. All I want is a second chance. I want to be with you."
You wiped the tears off of your face with the back of your free hand before meeting his gaze. You leaned down and rested your head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for yelling at you."
Jim chuckled. "No worries. I deserved it."
You lifted your head and looked in his eyes again. "so, you really want to do this?"
He nodded, grinning. "I really want to do this."
You smirked. "What about that blonde ensign from the party?"
Jim chuckled. "Long forgotten."
You smiled up at him. He glanced down at your lips and used his other hand to tilt your chin up, closing the distance.
You pulled away with a smile still on your face. "Finally, a real kiss."
It was Jim's turn to smirk. "Care for another?"

To almost everyone on the Enterprise, it was totally and utterly obvious that you were pining after the one and only Doctor Leonard McCoy. Everyone also found it glaringly obvious the CMO was pining right back.
You worked on the bridge while Leonard worked down in Medbay, but you saw each other often on the bridge since you were both close with Jim. People were constantly throwing knowing glances your way as you both shamelessly flirted with one another, though it only added to the unresolved tension between you.
Some threw around the notion that maybe you and the doctor were soulmates, but it was rare that anyone was able to find theirs. Most people ignored or gave up on the idea that soulmates were real and decided to just let things play out instead of searching.
Your parents, for example, weren’t soulmates, but they were still happy together and raised you well. However, your grandparents were. When you were young you were fascinated by the idea of having the perfect match made for you and you would often press one of your hands on your grandparents’ hearts and feel them beat in perfect sync. Your grandmother would tell you bedtime stories about how she met your grandfather and their first date, as well as the day she finally started being able to hear his heartbeat in the back of her mind. She told you how it became a calming lullaby for her, and it made her feel safe.
For a long time, you were obsessed with finding your soulmate, but that obsession had quieted back down to mild curiosity. By the time you reached your early twenties, you had accepted that you were probably never going to find your other half after years of searching. You weren’t opposed to the idea of soulmates like others could be, if you found yours you would be beyond happy, but you were willing to settle down with anyone as long as you both were okay with it.
Leonard, however, couldn’t remember the last time he actually believed the tale was true. When he married Jocelyn, he knew after the first time they held hands that they weren’t soulmates. He tried so hard to make it work, but in the end soulmates won. She ended up finding her other half a few years after Joanna was born and left him. He had given up on love altogether when she did.
He had tried- he really did- to keep up that mentality once you walked aboard the Enterprise, but he found that increasingly more difficult as he got to know you.
“Leonard!”
A smile instantly formed on his lips as you jogged towards him.
“You ready for lunch?” he asked, tucking his PADD under his arm.
You nodded, falling into step with him. “Yep!”
When your friends asked you about your feelings for the doctor, you never really knew how to answer. It started as a general safe feeling when you were around him, a strange sense of calm and comfort from the moment you laid eyes on him. You had never felt that with anyone before and you were instantly attracted to him. You thought that maybe it was just a little crush and it would fade away after a while, but if anything it started picking up the pace.
You didn’t want to think about what it meant.
The day went by just how you thought it would, boringly. You didn’t see Leonard for the rest of your shift, making you frown. You usually got to see him multiple times throughout the day. Around the end of your shift, your best friend [b/f/n] wandered onto the bridge.
“Hey [y/n]!”
You smiled as she approached you. “What’s up?”
“Nothing much,” she replied. “My shift just finished. Do you want to hang out tonight? Have a few drinks?”
You nodded, prepping your station for the following shift. “I would love too.”
“Great!” she pulled you up from your chair and practically dragged you to the Turbolift.
                                                 _________________
[b/f/n] had gotten you really, really drunk. Barely an hour after your shift had ended, you were stumbling around her quarters, laughing your head off. You didn’t notice the sly grin [b/f/n] was wearing as she watched you from the counter. She got up and went to the comm and whispered something into it.
“Whatcha doing?” you slurred behind her.
“I’m calling the doctor,” she replied, trying to hide her smile.
“The doctor?” you squeaked, sobering for a moment. It was only a moment. “Oh well, I guess that’s not too bad.”
[b/f/n] smirked, thinking you were about to confess.
“Now he can bring his good whiskey!” you exclaimed, flopping on the couch with your hands stretched out. [b/f/n] signed. Not even being drunk was enough to draw the truth out of you, or so she thought.
The chime at the door spooked you and you rolled off the couch, landing with a small ‘oof’. You lied there with a panicked expression on your face.
You heard the doctor and [b/f/n] talking quietly at the door and to your horror, you heard [b/f/n] leave the room.
                                            ____________________
Leonard was panicking. He had barely noticed it at first, the slight pulse in the back of his mind. He thought it was a strange sort of migraine so he took some medication, but lo and behold, nothing happened. The steady beat remained, and Leonard knew exactly what it meant.
He tried to ignore it most of the day but it was always there, mocking him with every soft thump. He felt it race on occasion, either mirroring his own feelings or it was something she was going through. It never lasted more than a few moments, until only a few minutes after Beta shift ended. [y/n]’s shift. He let himself wonder for a brief moment if she was the one who’s heartbeat mirrored his, but he pushed the thought away. It couldn’t be.
Barely half an hour into Gamma shift, Bones heard his comm chime.
“Leonard,” he sighed into it.
“Hey, uh, I need your help in my quarters,” came the response.
“I don’t make house calls,” he growled.
“Well, it’s [y/n],” the voice replied.
Len felt his heart skip a beat, the faint one in his head following suit.
“What the hell’s wrong with her?” he tried to keep from sounding frantic. “And who the hell is this?”
The voice sighed loudly. “Leonard, its [b/f/n]. She’s fine but she’s, you know, not handling her drinks well.”
It was Leonard’s turn to sigh. “Fine. I’ll be there in a second.”
He put the communicator down and took a deep breath. He could do this. It wasn’t like she was dying. He grabbed a MedKit and left his office. The trip was much shorter than he was hoping and before he knew it he was ringing [b/f/n]’s door chime. She answered almost immediately, and he narrowed his eyes.
“This better not be some sort of cruel joke,” he grumbled.
“Of course not,” she replied, stepping out of the doorway to allow Leonard in. He almost missed the glint in her eye. “I’m going to leave you two alone.”
Before he could protest, [b/f/n] slipped out of the room, doors hissing closed behind her. He let out a sigh and ran a hand over his eyes.
He finally strode into the room to find you laying on the floor on your stomach, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“Did you bring the good stuff?” your whisper muffled slightly by the floor.
“What?” Leonard asked in surprise.
You jumped up from the carpet and stood on your tippy-toes to whisper in his ear.
“The whiskey.”
“Of course not,” Leonard blinked, bemused. “You’re way too drunk for that missy.”
You groaned and fell away from him, collapsing back on the couch. “Then why’d [b/f/n] call you in?”
“To deal with you,” Leonard replied, unpacking a hypo from his kit.
“What’s that mean?”
“I'm here to sober you up darlin’,” he spun around and pressed the hypo in your neck, which earned him a yelp from you.
“What was that for?” you gasped, rubbing the spot on your neck.
“They say it hurts less if it’s a surprise,” he shrugged.
“Bullshit,” you huffed. “What was in that anyway?”
“Sedative,” Leonard replied, closing his kit back up. “That’s all. I’ll see you tomorrow at lunch.”
“Wait!” you called after him. He stopped in the doorway and turned around.
“Stay with me?” you asked sheepishly, red clouding your cheeks.
Leonard felt his heart melt, but felt a pang of unease. If he stayed, what was he getting himself into? Would he be able to make good decisions? Before rational thought could regain control, he smiled and walked back towards the couch, setting his kit on the kitchen counter. He couldn’t leave you by yourself, could he?
                                             ________________
Jim wandered down the hallway, finding [b/f/n] standing outside her quarters. He groaned.
“Don’t tell me.”
She grinned. “Oh yeah. Got ‘em both in there alone. They’re cuddling Jim. Cuddling. You owe me.”
“Fine,” he muttered, basically throwing the hundred dollar bill at [b/f/n].
“Thank you,” she smirked. “Now let’s go have our own fun.”
                                             _________________
Leonard settled down on the couch next to you, freezing as you snuggled under his arm. His face burned red, unsure if he should pull you closer or push you away.
After a few minutes, he felt you doze off. He felt a feeling of safety he wasn’t used to as he watched your chest rise and fall. His eyes wandered over your small form until they settled on your open hand resting on his thigh, palm up. The overwhelming urge to check your heartbeat was almost irresistible, but in the end, he found himself reaching for it despite every ounce of him screaming not to.
He pressed his thumb onto your wrist and nearly gasped in surprise. Your heart was beating in a familiar rhythm and Leonard nearly didn’t believe it. He didn’t want to believe it, in fear he was mistaken. He brought his other free hand to his own chest and sure enough:
You were his soulmate.

Spock Headcanon #1 [Request!]
Tumblr media
“Hey uhm I don't know if I ever send you a request (if i did i am sorry bc I'm so forgetful) but could I request headcanons for Spock and Data (if you write for tng) with a very emotional female co worker where they find her in a room crying? ^^ have a lovely day! :)” - @lady-of-black-roses
Hiii! Thank you for sending in a request! You have sent me one, I’m still working on it oops but don’t worry about it! Keep sending them in :) So in the meantime, I decided to do my first ever headcanon! Not sure how it works exactly if it’s like a drabble or something but I’m just going to structure it off some lousy research I did but I hope you like it nonetheless! (P.S your fic will be coming soon :)
Sorry if Spock seems a bit OOC at the end I wanted it to be sweet :)
request something!
ngl, he kinda didn’t know what to do at first when he saw you
it kinda surprised him
you were crying really hard
like ugly, ugly crying
he knew that you sometimes could get worked up but he had no idea how much pent-up emotion you were able to hold in
he didn’t even know why you were crying in the first place
he just wanted to be there for you
so he sat on the floor with you for as long as you needed to get it all out
he held you to try and make you feel safe even though you were staining his shirt with your tears
he rubbed your back and whispered nice things like ‘it's going to be okay’ and even in his monotone voice it still helped you feel relaxed
he knew that both of your shifts had started but he was in no hurry to make you go to work like that
eventually, you wore yourself out and fell asleep in his arms
he carried you to the bed and let you sleep cuddled nicely on his arm
he dozed off too
he woke up a few hours later with you hugging him tightly
it was well into the night but he still stayed with you
when you woke up you explained to him why you were crying and he was as sympathetic as a Vulcan could be
he really did try his best to make you feel better
he let you change out of your tearstained uniform into a sweatshirt and some shorts so you could leave your room
he took you to the mess and replicated you a steaming mug of [your favorite hot drink] and sat with you as you drank it
it was all a blessing in disguise, since the ship was flying through a particularly beautiful corner of space with gorgeous colors and bright stars
Spock sat with you as you watched space streak by
he escorted you back to your quarters, hand in hand
he was about to leave but you asked him to stay with you
you told him that he made you feel safe
he agreed and let you snuggle into his side all night
even though you were like a human furnace and he barely got much sleep because he was sweating so much
but just looking at your relaxed form made the corner of his mouth turn up a bit
and all he felt was pure affection and happiness
a bit groggy, he decided to let his guard down with you like you had done with him
and he let himself cuddle you back

I Will Spend My Whole Life Loving You (Spock x Fem!Reader) [Request!]
Tumblr media
“Fic Request: Spock x Fem!Reader (Vulcan/Human hybrid) go on a romantic date!”
”Headcanon or Fic Request: fem!Reader being married to Spock!”
“Request: Spock x Human-Vulcan Fem!Reader get married on the Enterprise. Preferably TOS Spock please.”
- @sovereignoblivious
Hi there! Thank you for requesting :) I decided to mash these all into one since they are all kind of similar. I hope you don’t mind! Also, I write for mainly AOS but nothing really distinguishes it from TOS so you can imagine it taking place in TOS if you would like! I also totally forgot about the vulcan/human hybrid until I was about 1k words in, so if it’s not as well represented I’m so sorry!! I tried to fit it in as best I could :(
I wrote this like a recap of your relationship with Spock, so there’s not much dialogue. I tried to be as detailed as possible!
Also, sorry for the lack of updates... the school year just ended and I went on vacation for two weeks to visit my family in Hawai’i! I had no wifi for nearly 10 days and let me tell you it was AWFUL. Haha. I’m so glad to be home. The rest of this summer will hopefully be full of updates! Keep the requests coming!
ALSO, THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE FOLLOWS!!!!! I gained 20 more followers while I was away! I love you all so much :D!!!
Word Count: 2377 Warnings: fluff, swearing, mentions of self-harm/self-loathing
Send a request!
You had absolutely hated Spock at first. Boiling, raw, pure hatred for him, even though your reasons were unfair and you knew it.
Your initial thought was to just avoid him as much as possible, but that plan was eventually foiled when you realized how difficult that was going to be when he was in almost all of your classes, his dorm was literally directly across the street (like you could look out your window and see right through his window, how you both happened to be on the 17th floor in separate buildings and the same room number was beyond you) and you saw him probably more than ten times a day.
He was there on the walk to class in the morning, there during class, there during lunch hour, even there sometimes on the walk home after class. Once you thought it couldn’t get any worse, your professors started pairing the two of you for group projects. When you asked why, all of their answers ran along the same lines: ‘You both need to learn to get along’ or ‘You could learn a lot from each other’ and other shit like that. You started getting suspicious when you suddenly had four projects assigned with him as your partner. You asked your friends about it when you were getting frustrated and all they did was share a look between each other and shrug. When you and Spock set a date to finally start working on all of your projects, you started dreading it. You found yourself lingering around, whether it be to ask a professor a question that you already knew the answer to after class was over or staying late at the library so that you wouldn't have to go to bed and wake up the next morning, a whole day closer to doomsday. You tried to tell yourself that the reason you were doing that was because you hated him and didn’t want to be around him for any amount of time, but when the familiar burning sensation you always felt when thinking of him started morphing into something else you got scared. The change startled you, suddenly feeling self-conscious and unsure as opposed to your typically confident nature. It was all so new and it was especially frightening when you didn’t have enough time to unpack it before your workday with Spock, so, instead of dealing with it, you tried to push it all down.
When the day finally came, it took every ounce of willpower you had to roll out of bed and get dressed. It was a Saturday so you didn’t need to be dressed in uniform, so you went with some black sweats that had ‘STARFLEET’ written down one side and a  [f/c] tank top. It was a little chilly outside, so you threw your favorite hoodie on as you walked out the door. You tied your hair back in the elevator, careful to leave enough down to cover your ears, put your keycard into the side pocket of your backpack and you started the walk to the campus library.
If there was one thing you were most self-conscious about it was your Vulcan ears. You didn’t like your Vulcan side as much because of your father. He was half-Vulcan half-human, while you were three-quarters human and only one-fourth Vulcan. You were glad you only inherited the ears, not the eyebrows. You and your father didn’t have the best relationship, or any relationship at all, really, and you never knew why. He was often strict and unfeeling, never exercising his human side in front of you. He left when you were eight years old for a Vulcan science mission and never came back. Your mother still loved him, though you never saw him show any sign of affection back. You always believed your mother deserved better, and that was when your hatred for Vulcans started to manifest. Starting with yourself.
A few years after he left you fell into a dark place, although you were exceptional at hiding it. You would often stare at your sharply pointed ears in the mirror and pull on them, hoping that if you pulled hard enough from the bottom they would even out. You would wear earmuffs year-round so that nobody would see. When you were fifteen, you snuck out and got them pierced several times so that they would appear more human. They also compelled you to become more emotional to appear less like your father.
You shook yourself out of your reverie as you walked out of the front entrance of your building.
Luckily for you, Spock was not walking down the opposite sidewalk so you slid your headphones under your hood over your ears and shuffled your playlist. The walk was much shorter than you would’ve preferred and you sauntered up the steps into the vast hall. Since everybody was off, the library was used more as a hangout area than a quiet study hall, save for the actual study hall in the back, so it was a bit louder than usual.
You spotted Spock sitting at one of the smaller open tables next to one of the windows overlooking the grounds. The fluttery-anxious feeling was back again, causing you to swallow hard as you approached him.
“Hey,” you called as he looked up from the window.
“Hey,” he greeted, somewhat awkwardly. Setting your backpack down, you sat down across from him. He was wearing casual clothes too; a plain green sweater and some jeans, though you thought it was cute how he still wore his badge. You shut your eyes tightly and cursed yourself.
I don’t think he looks cute, I don’t think he looks cute, I don’t think he looks cute-
“[y/n], are you feeling alright?” he asked.
You opened your eyes and glared at him.
“Fine, just mentally preparing,” you snapped.
He did what you could only assume was his version of an eye roll, but what surprised you was the flicker of a smile that passed over his features. It was only there for a fraction of a second, but your cheeks reddened as your heart raced.
What is happening to me?
“Would you like to begin?” he started pulling out papers and you gulped.
This was going to be a long day.
Surprisingly, that wasn’t the case. You had never really sat down and talked with Spock before, and to your astonishment, he was a really cool person. You both talked for hours, barely getting any work done, and before you knew it the library was empty and it was almost nine pm. You packed up your things and headed back towards your dorms you continued to talk and he continued to make you laugh and once you made it to the front entrance of your building you couldn’t even remember why you had hated him in the first place.
You smiled and told him goodnight, feeling the heat creep up on your cheeks. You swore that you saw his own cheeks tint green. You both stared back at each other for a moment, feeling yourself gravitate towards each other for a brief second before you realized what you were doing and leaned back a little. He bid you goodnight and with the tiniest little smile you had ever seen, he turned away and crossed the street. You shook yourself out of your daze and hurried inside, texting your friends to meet you asap in your dorm. Even though it was late, you knew your friends and their Saturday night habits.
You asked them about Spock again, this time a little less aggressively. They looked shocked at your calm, almost lovestruck expression settled over your features, glancing worriedly between themselves.
Your friends were there for hours talking with you about your feelings and how you were to deal with them until you all fell asleep. They told you that this was just a case of misinterpretation of feelings, so when you felt so strongly towards Spock you mistook it for hatred when it was really admiration and infatuation. The confirmed that the same thing had happened to Spock, though he had realized much sooner. When you asked them what that meant, they dropped the bombshell on you.
“[y/n],” [friend’s name] said gently. “Spock has been smitten with you since midterms. Almost everyone knows, except for you apparently.”
You sat and stared for a minute, unsure how to react. Giddiness rose above all the other emotions you were feeling, forcing a smile to form on your lips. You felt all choked up, excitement raising your heartrate and slowly taking away your ability to breathe.
“So, even the teachers know?” you managed to force out. Your friends chuckled.
The teachers assumed something was going on, but didn’t know for sure since you acted so hostile towards him all the time so they went out of their way to pair you and Spock together.
You thanked your friends and invited them to stay the night.
The next day you had planned to work with Spock again, so you left your friends a note and told them they could stay as long as they liked as long as they locked the door before they left.
You met Spock at the library again but this time you actually did get some work done, and quickly. When you both finished, you packed your things and took a walk around the grounds. You talked all day about random things, interests, favorites, childhood (you tried your best to leave out the part about your father) and a little bit about your hopes for the future. You did most of the talking, though Spock did contribute on occasion, like he talked a bit about his love (or as he put it, ‘subtle interest’ but you knew better) for music and his passion for science.
Hours passed quickly and the sunset came quickly. You and Spock were sat on a grassy slope overlooking the San Fransisco Bay, watching the sunset.
“[y/n], I have something to confess,” he broke the silence. You turned to him.
“Go ahead.”
“The truth of the matter is that I harbor no malice or hatred towards you,” he started, looking away from you. Even in the dim golden light from the descending sun, you could tell he was uncomfortable. “My... feelings towards you are quite the opposite.”
You stared blankly at him for a moment. Even though you had already known, hearing it come from his was a totally different story. You scooted a little closer to him and placed your head down on his shoulder. He relaxed beneath you, accepting the action as one of reciprocation. You felt his hand brush over yours and the spark that followed after confirmed a Vulcan kiss. You raised your head up to meet his eyes, which flickered between your lips and back up. You leaned in slowly to give him time to back out if he wasn’t comfortable, but to your surprise, he was the one to close the distance.
This kiss was sweet and only lasted a few seconds. When you pulled away, you could see the tiniest hint of a smile on his lips. Your smile faded, though, when you remembered your lie.
“I have to tell you something,” you said softly. He nodded slowly, letting you remove your hand from his light hold.
You pulled your hood back and tucked your hair behind your now exposed ear. You couldn’t look him in the eye as he stared at your earring-ridden ear that mirrored his.
“You’re... Vulcan?”
“A quarter,” you replied softly, wringing your hands in your lap. Spock reached out to grasp them in his own, forcing you to look back up into his eyes.
“Why did you feel the need to hide this from me?” he asked you gently. “It would not and does not change the effect that you have on me.”
So, you explained in the waning sunlight what actually happened in your childhood and the issues with your father, why you ended up hating all Vulcans and that’s why you hated him too in the beginning.
“You don’t need to be ashamed of your heritage because of him,” he told you when you finished. “You don’t need to hide part of who you are because of his mistakes. I can assist you in exploring our culture to help change your views if you would like.”
You threw your arms around his neck in a tight hug.
“Thank you,” you murmured.
                                                      _____________
You and Spock stayed together for the remaining years at the academy. You brought him home to meet your mother (who instantly approved) and you did almost everything together. Date night was your favorite time of the week, which ranged from movie nights or fancy dinners. Your favorite one was when he took you out of the city to go stargazing and set up the cutest little picnic complete with lanterns and fairy lights. It was romantic and beautiful being there with him and listening to the wildlife as the stars made themselves known. He showed you all the constellations he knew of.
Before you knew it you were both assigned on missions. At first, you were separated; you on the USS Bradbury and him on the USS Enterprise, but with some convincing, you were reassigned to the Enterprise.
After your first run-in with danger when Nero attacked and your near-death experience, Spock decided it was time to pop the question. You were married not long after by Jim, who you had gotten very close to because of Spock. You had asked Nyota to be your maid of honor and Spock chose Leonard (who agreed despite his recurring annoyance with the Vulcan). You were awarded a larger, shared quarters and time off duty to spend time together.
Married life was much more normal than you had originally thought it was going to be. Everything just started to slow down around you, and you always had a sense of calm whenever Spock was near you. The butterflies you always felt when he was around died down and instead you felt an overwhelming amount of safety and comfort.
He was all you had ever wanted, and he was forever yours.
