sometimes it’s like. maybe we need to be thankful for spn. bc here’s the thing. i am never interested in fan content from shows that give me everything i want. i simply do not care; i got what i wanted from canon. i don’t need more. by being continually disappointing spn did me the favor of outsourcing the best possible leads to fandom creators who have run hog wild with them and made better content than the show runners ever could. so. thanks i guess

genuinely where else are you gonna get a guy who refuses to accept his character’s death and that the show is over, and then goes and create his own prequel to the show involving his character in it.
a guy who makes his own production company just so he can create more opportunities for the original show that has already ended.
and then wishing your character a happy birthday every single year and enlisting the cast of your new prequel to eat your character’s favourite food on birthday plates. WHO ELSE IS DOING IT LIKE JENSEN.
