I think my first interest in philosophy/ literature dates back to when I would look forward to each quotes at the beginning and end of Criminal Minds’ episodes. That was the thing I looked forward to (and seeing Hotch ngl). And each time I was left speechless

An alligator basks in the midday sun in the Okefenokee Swamp along the Georgia-Florida line. They call it black-water country, but in this sandy-bottomed stretch the water looks as red as cranberry juice owing to tannins from decaying leaves. photo: Melissa Farlow (1992)

Listen….
Books are wonderful companions, full of knowledge and they will expand your imagination and empathy. They are IMPORTANT. CENTRAL TO HUMANITY AND TO TOUR GROWTH AS A HUMAM BEING.
I am tired of seeing celebrities using books as article of fashion. Read them. You don’t have to have an aesthetic or it doesn’t have to be part of your style. READ THEM. USE THEM. I see videos of celebrities talking about books and it’s so fucking clear that they have no clue what the book is about/ so clear that they haven’t read it. READ THE FUCKING BOOK !!

I wear my solitude like a crown made of the finest jewels. I sometimes feels like a saint whose holy mission is to carry the crown with pride and my head held high.
Yet this crown is starting to become too heavy to bear. It feels like it is rotting and the filth is infiltrating my veins and my blood. I’m scared that the loneliness will set in.
