Announcement!

As I've announced on my personal Instagram, I'm going to be part of the management team for a new kaiwai account for girly! It'll introduce trends, styles, and discuss hot topics within the community in Japan and abroad! Like most kaiwai accounts, we'll also feature posts we are tagged in! If you post coords, art, or other content that fits the girly kei aesthetic (any substyle), feel free to tag girly.zyoshi or use the hashtag #ガーリー系クラブ ! Our first post will be discussing the denim fad in retro girly, but we'd also love to start featuring user submissions as well! Stay tuned, activities should begin next week!

As a preemptive measure in response to a recent interview, I'd like to remind everyone that Ezaki ALSO claims there to be no menhera, and that he invented yamikawaii, and bullied someone into a suicide attempt... oh right, and if his take were correct, there would be no lolita, no gyaru (gal), no fairy kei, angura (short for underground), etc. Reblogging the callout post (which links to JP callouts) listing other various ableist, sexist, and downright scam-y things hes done.

Project Expansion!

Finally, the moment no one has been waiting for: Girly Tips has expanded its audience to Instagram! ...kind of.

As the creator of this project, I've always had two goals.

To spread awareness on the reality of "jirai (landmine/redflag) kei" and the misuse of menhera

More importantly, to introduce new people to girly and make them happy!

In order to make that happen, as we approach 1,000 followers on Tumblr and have 60+ members of our Discord, I think it's time to expand to a mainstream social media.

That account will mostly post girly, but it'll also post the occasional menhera and fairy kei content as I wear both. There will be informational posts, specifically regarding girly, menhera, "jirai kei", and the mizuiro fad! Coords and aesthetic images posted will all belong to me.
