Birthday - EF Renate Deuring … EF Santosini Tripathy Wed, September 6 .. all our good wishes for the birthdays of Renate and Santoshi .. joys and accomplishments of life and the happiness of all ever .. love from the entire Ef ..
The mighty Lal Bagh cha Raja Ganapati leaves for its ‘visarjan’ its final journey to be immersed in the waters of the sea .. with the prayer to come back again next year soon ..
It signals the end to the festivities for Ganapati and the ordained end of the monsoons and rain .. whether it does is to be seen .. normally today the last and final day for the ‘visarjan’ and the most pious is always marked by rain - a belief of the blessings of the Almighty upon Ganesh ji .. I did not hear the rain at all today .. and the processions that crowd the front of Jalsa roads on their way to the beach, have always been a pious joy for us all ..
May His blessings be upon us ever .. !!
And so another festive moment in the times of India and its multitude festivals over the entire year, is over .. many other festivities shall take over soon .. Dashera, Diwali, Eid, and then at the end of year Christmas and New year .. !!
I wonder if there is any other nation in the world where they celebrate so many different kinds of festivals and such, as they do in India .. I would imagine not !
BUT .. some thehow the numbers for the festivals does not really matter .. what matters is the belief and the following that it provokes and brings people on a platform which is common to all ..
And so to work .. even on ‘visarjan’ day .. when there are road and traffic restrictions and the works .. the advisory is do not step out of the home .. but if you do, you must be assured that ‘Visarjan’ day has the smoothest traffic ride ever in the entire year .. the controls and the measures that the police take is an exercise that requires research and admiration ..
moods of work and the alternation of moods is simply quite unimaginable .. we need to monitor through science and electrodes, what artists go through during the moment ‘action’ is initiated and when its ‘cut’ .. it would be difficult to explain this rather unique physical human formulae .. it really would .. !!
… and then some more ..
as the work on one comes to an end one cannot but begin to imagine the consequences of departure .. departure from class mates room mates .. the uncertainty of the next .. a dark alley leading us no where ..
and then quite by accident a door opens throwing light and we follow and we believe and we trust .. and we wait for the tides to churn and change .. for life shall not be constant for all .. and the light travels across the dark corridors of the caves of destiny and we discover .. discover the truths and lamentations of life ..
And that is how it shall remain.. ever ..
