Archangel Jegudiel and her associate, Skytomiel. A bit of an odd couple but they get along all right.
To summarize their roles and responsibilities, Jegudiel is more or less the angel in charge of the Second Heaven, Raqia. She isn't really a ruler in the sense of commanding legions or anything, but moreso that she oversees the functions of the great desert and is the final line of defense for it (should that ever happen). Raqia functions not unlike a giant prison for the demonic (and occasionally angelic) beings that reside within it, and Jegudiel is the warden. She is very serious and no nonsense, which makes sense since she is the Archangel of Diligence.
Skytomiel is Jegudiel's assistant, bodyguard, and protege. Traditionally associates of the Archangels are matched in skill and wisdom, though Skytomiel appears to be not even close to Jegudiel's level. He is a very capable angel, however, and shouldn't be dismissed (as some other angels tend to do). He secretly worries if Jegudiel was in her right mind to choose him as her associate when there were more skilled and powerful angels available.
Personality wise, Skytomiel is pretty friendly and easygoing despite what his life and upbringing should have made him. He is often daydreaming about silly matters, and is considered oddly progressive for an angel of his ranking.
