Arctic❄
The Arctic is the northernmost region of the planet located around the North Pole.
🔹 The Arctic region rightfully ranks second in sparsely populated in the world, second only to Antarctica. Now the population of the Arctic is only 4 million people or about 30 different peoples: Chukchi, Koryaks, Evens, Dolgans, Yakuts, Yuits, Inuits, etc. That is the entire population of a vast region can fit into one medium-sized metropolis.
🔷 At the North Pole more than anywhere else (except Antarctica) manifestations of such phenomena as polar day and night. These phenomena arise due to the special inclination of the planet in relation to the Sun, as a result of which the Sun either does not go beyond the horizon at all or on the contrary, does not go beyond the horizon. Polar days and nights last from 2 days to 6 months.
🔹 The Arctic is not as cold as it is in Antarctica. Minimum temperatures below -50 on Celsius are recorded only over dense layers of ice. Otherwise, the temperature rarely drops below -40 even in winter. This is due to the influx of warm ocean waters by currents from the south.
🔹 At the bottom of the Arctic Ocean there are high seamounts with numerous volcanoes. Scientists found it out at the end of the 20th century when seismographs recorded the strongest tremors under the Arctic ice caused by the explosion of a deep-sea volcano.
🔹 Russia is the only country that has found the cheapest of all possible ways to explore the Arctic: to use drifting scientific stations. These stations are small villages on drifting glaciers in which on average up to 15 people stay per shift. The stations are engaged in measuring ocean depths, meteorological observations, ice, ionospheric and magnetic observations.

🙂There is one interesting place on earth...
📍Brazil🇧🇷
🏟Stadium "Estadio Milton Correa" is also known as "Zeran" (Portuguese for "Big Zero").
Its name is due to the fact that the equator passes almost in the middle of the field - the zero parallel😯 So we can assume that the teams that hold matches on it protect not only their goal but also a separate hemisphere of the Earth😏☝

Did you know which sciences are included in geography?🙂
For example there are such sciences as:
👉Geography. A branch of physical geography that studies the geographic shell of the Earth.
👉Geomorphology. The science of relief its appearance origin development history, modern dynamics and distribution patterns.
👉Glaciology. The science of natural ice in all its varieties on the surface of the earth in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere.
In addition to these sciences, there is also soil: geography, biogeography, geocryology, climatology and other. But all these disciplines study physical geography.
But there is also socio-economic geography. For example:
🔴 Social geography. A science that studies the laws of territorial organization, social infrastructure in connection with the mode of production and the characteristics of the geographic environment.
🔴Political geography. A science that studies the territorial differentiation of political phenomena and processes.
You can also highlight such disciplines as geo-urbanism, industrial geography, transport geography, service geography, economic geography and much more.
By the way geography is actively integrating with other sciences so there are such branches in the form of cartography, regional studies, historical geography, medical geography and recreational geography.
