Howdy, this is a for funsies Star Wars blog mostly for General Grievous, but other characters are more than welcome. You can call me Sindy, I mostly post/answer headcanons, but sometimes I'll draw or add onto scenarios in the answers to asks.
You can also directly ask the Grievous I have trapped in my head, just include something like "So, General…" or "This is for Grievous…" etc. so I know you're talking to the character. I'll answer in-character for the fun of it. Please note the Grievous for this blog is mostly inspired by canon, but follows a lot of my own personal headcanons about his character. I will be using the pre-Disney acquisition extended universe lore with a light sprinkling of 2008/2002 Clone Wars lore. He is biromantic asexual and goes by he/him pronouns.
I'm more of a casual Star Wars enjoyer, so please forgive any unintentional inaccuracies and feel free to correct me if I get something confused.
I do accept constructive criticism and suggestions to improve the blog and make it a fun place for everyone to goof around.
Some super basic rules:
- Please be polite and patient. Sometimes I may not answer for a long while. I have to recharge the hyperfixation.
- No NSFW asks, keep it clean. Non-graphic violence/light alchohol mention is fine.
- Romantic headcanon asks for Grievous x SO (significant other) are allowed, just don't be weird.
- No OC asks, this is not a roleplay blog. You may ask something like "If Grievous encountered a person like [very brief description], how would he react?" But don't send an entire person with a name and backstory to me. I won't answer. You may share OCs if you like, but not in the context of headcanons.
- Don't submit art if you are not the original artist. Memes of official media from the shows/games/movies are fine, but don't alter other people's art.
- Don't send links, I'm wary of them.
- Art requests will open from time to time, I will make a post about it when they are. Please don't send me art requests otherwise.
- Discussion of AUs (alternate universes) and other characters interacting with Grievous is more than encouraged, I love talking about putting that cyborg in a situation and seeing what happens next.

Grievous is walking down the street with his battle droids wreaking general havoc while a shop owner cowers under the counter. Suddenly, the shop window shatters as Grievous kicks the glass in. The shopkeeper thinks this is the end and prays Grievous doesn’t find him. Grievous walks past the coat rack, past the trousers, past the designer suits, and stops… right in front of the cape display

I miss Cassian Andor’s Separatist child soldier backstory because we could’ve had a really funny headcanon where he meets the Literal Actual General Kriffing Grievous one time when he’s like eight and goes “huh. neat”
Man I will tell you I don't remember Rogue One very well and haven't seen Andor BUT this could be so funny.
The reason he loves droids so much: he met Grievous as a boy and decided robots were epic.

grievous totally is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. related; grievous doesnt normally like to sing, but when he's drunk, his troops have to drag him away from the cantina's karaoke machine

Idk if this blog is Active or not but I’m just asking this because I’m generally curious about this. In the Star Wars series, Obi Wan’s former/current(?) lover Satine is killed by Darth Maul. How do you think Grievous would have reacted when he came to learn of this? On one hand Obi wan is his rival and Grievous seems to really want to kill him…on the other hand it may remind him of himself and Ronderu.

I think you're right! But I'm also unsure if Grievous even knew Obi Wan had feelings for Satine. For the sake of the headcanon I'm gonna say there were rumors and Grievous caught wind of them somehow.
I don't at all believe he'd feel sympathy for Obi Wan, but it would put him in a somber mood recalling that his own lover is long gone and flickers of her memory linger in the fragments in the back of his mind.
He would feel much worse for himself and his own loss than for Obi Wan or Satine.

Hi, I’m just recently stumbled across this blog and I absolutely love it already lol. General Grievous is one of my favorite characters and even some of the Headcanons I see here actually are mine (I knew someone agreed with me that Grievous was an animal lover!). Idk if this blog is still active but what is your Headcanon if Grievous finds out that not only the explosion was planted by the separatist, but that his body was mostly unscathed and the separatist actually removed his limbs

OOOOOOOOGGGHH THAT IS SO SO INTERESTING.
He'd be out for blood. After having an existential crisis that he was lied to and realizing that both his body and mind were mutilated without his consent (in fact he specifically told them not to screw with his brain, but now he isn't even sure that memory is real).
He would use all of the firepower in the entirety of the fleet and turn it against the CIS, then go after Dooku himself. He's never stood a chance against him, but even if he dies fighting, at least he can feel vindicated in the destruction he caused beforehand.
Though if he actually does defeat Dooku, he'd go straight to Vassek, pack his things, and go home to Kalee to live out the rest of his days with his people.

Hi there! It's been a while huh? I wanted to ask what the Kaleesh think of humans (like modern humans right now on earth) in general. Hatred? Likeful? Neutral? What are some headcannons of yours if we ever met up with them?
Well Kaleesh by default aren't fond of humans just in general. I don't think they're particularly fond of anyone really. Modern day humans on Earth would likely baffle them. They've always worked together as one to defend Kalee, yet here are all these humans on an isolated planet with no intergalactic enemies killing each other over petty disagreements.
On a large scale, I don't think they'd like us, but as individuals, they could warm up to people. Everyone is different, friendships and connections are bound to happen.
I think they'd also sort of not like the fact that we're all so relaxed about life. Kaleesh are hardened warriors, they value strength (physical, mental, and character), leadership, and resolve. People on Earth are very couch-potato-y, what with our technology. They don't like excessive wealth or laziness, so that'd be a negative for them.
Like they're not against technology, they just don't think it should play such a huge role in life, especially to the extent that it does for some people.
