If there's one thing I wish I could've somehow communicated to my past self I'd just be that gay trans men exist and it's possible to be one.
You can identify as a man without relating to stereotypical cis straight masculinity. You can be masculine in the way that gay men who are drag queens are masculine. You can want to love and be loved as a man. You can like women's fashion, having brunch with the girls and hate sports and beer, all while being a man.
There are so many ways to be a man. Queer masculinity is beautiful and diverse and if you yearn to be a part of it and the only thing holding you back is the lack of representation and awareness, then I'm here to tell you that gay trans men are real & you can be one, if that's what you vibe with.

When I talk about the erasure of alloaros in aspec spaces and say "aros are aspec" (a controversial take, apparently) theres always quite a few people who are like "aplatonic/aqueerplatonic/etc are also aspec!"
And like... They're not wrong but that's also derailing and taking attention away from the issue that I'm trying to talk about
In aspec spaces alloaro posts are constantly derailed and we're told that our issues aren't important or it's implied that our very existence in aspec spaces is problematic
Just because aplatonics, aqueerplatonics, and other lesser known aspec identities and labels deserve more exposure and recognition doesn't make derailing alloaro posts any more okay than when aces do it
Like, your statements themselves are absolutely correct and deserve to be said... Just don't do it in reply to alloaros saying they're being mistreated in aspec spaces. Especially if it's the only time you ever talk about it.

hey like. celebrating aroaces on ace day is great, do that, include aroaces in ace spaces. but please remember it’s not a specifically aromantic holiday. i’m seeing a lot of content that’s making it seem like bc it’s an ace holiday that it’s also an aro holiday or just a bunch of exclusively ace content in the aro tags. please let the two groups exist separately

is bullying, abusing and chasing aromantic and asexual people out of the community actually helping anyone? is it helping trans people get binders or breastforms, or find surgeons, or connect with other trans people? is it helping mspec people figure out that being attracted to multiple genders is normal and okay? is it helping lesbians and gays find each other? is it helping intersex people learn more about their conditions?
it's not. it's not helping anyone else get the resources, support and help they need. all it's doing is denying a huge chunk of the community their right to have the same things we have and want. it's not helping a single soul. it's not making it easier for anyone else to get what they need by removing these groups of people, because as queers, we all have different needs. we are here to help each other. the point of community is to help.
if you refuse to help one or two specific types of members of your own community, you are prejudiced and you are the one being disruptive to the unity and functionality of the queer community. you are the one causing problems- not the aromantics, asexuals and other aspectrum people.

Getting really sick of the fact that when alloaro issues finally get the recognition they deserve people insist on making it about alloaces too
Alloaces are not in the same boat as alloaros
Alloaces do not experience the same erasure as alloaros do
Alloaces do not experience the same prejudice within the aspec community as alloaros do
Alloaces and alloaros are nothing alike and the two communities are not linked at all other than them both being aspec
Alloaces are The Most Acceptable Form of aspec and comparing alloaro struggles within the community to them is an insult
If your only contribution to anti-alloarophobia is "alloaces (and alloaros) deserve more respect uwu" then you don't actually give a shit about alloaros
