(((i’m like 99% sure the recent bts/nicki twt interaction is hinting at something)))
#i'm subscribed to l**mpens on vimeo and i have notifications for the vimeo app on#on the 14th a bit after 8 am pst i get a notification saying l*mpens posted a new video#i click it thinking theyre sharing an mv from another group or artist (the channel is basically just the mvs theyve done in the past)#the video starts playing & i'm surprised its bts#visually it looked like dna (bright colors etc) but with different music#so i thought it might be a collection of old b-roll footage set to fun music#but then i notice the guys have their recent hair colors and are wearing completely different outfits#and then i hear a familiar female voice say 'bts... chun-li'#i havent heard any of nicki's recent music so i think 'oh maybe this is a cover???'#and i continue watching thinking its a cover or they've sampled or something (it was 8 am and i had just woken up i was confused)#i'm jamming and enjoying the song & vid and then ... suddenly nicki m*naj's voice comes in?!?!?!#and she's not in the video but there's a 3d cg model of a wooden art mannequin standing in for her + what looks like old mv footage#and then i realize i should not be watching this. this should not have been seen by me.#the vid even had a giant watermark which i'm guessing was to indicate an unfinished product#i close the app & think 'hold on a hot minute did i actually just see that?!?!'#open it again & yep there it is & i finish watching it#i freak out a bit & check around on social media but i don't see anyone mentioning the vid or l*mpens or n*cki#i go back to the vimeo app to see if i can watch it again but nope#the video's gone#either made private (which i suspect is how it was supposed to be uploaded in the first place) or deleted#if u saw some vague posts from me on this day (either here or my main) this is why#and that's why i said 99% sure the twt interaction had more meaning to it#thanks for coming to my tedtalk i guess#that was a wild 5 or so minutes of my life#that was a wild 5 maybe 7 minutes of my life

so, after the pleasant success of our 2017 golden couple fic exchange, we have decided to hold another junghope-centric challenge this year! things will be slightly different this time around since we’re running a fic fest instead of an exchange, but the purpose is still the same: to spread the love and appreciation for this pairing through some new stories!
