TEMPERANCE is the main character of Proicio. Waking up from what seems like a long period of unconsciousness and forced to wander in the familiar-yet-unfamiliar town of INNERLINK, he ends up helping the town's residents in various odd jobs in an effort to gain entry to FUGUE CORP. The eponymous founder of the company is, according to hearsay, able to shed some light on why he is in INNERLINK, and who he used to be before that.
He will be a (mostly) silent protagonist who interacts with the townsfolk through dialogue options, but at certain occasions his personality may find some way to shine through rather exceptionally... After all, he may simply be on a quest to go home, but the town could be closer to home than it seems.

FUGUE is the lady CEO of a massive company that keeps the land of INNERLINK running. The intricacies of this operation, however, are deeply unclear - but all the denizens know that her existence is essential for INNERLINK to thrive.
She commands a massive contigent of CORPORATE LACKEYS, but all of them are relatively incompetent and enjoy slacking. You'll find them loitering around INNERLINK gossiping about the town's residents, their boss, or work.
