My dear kittens and puppies. As you well know the war in my dear Ukraine is still lasting. We’re still holding, still fighting, still protecting our homeland. Lot of sadness happened during this month, but we won’t give up. And I won’t give up. I gathered my shit together to go back to the creating. The process is moving slowly (as you can imagine), however, I’m not planning to end my art. So you just be patient, okay?

I’ve decided to update all my hairstyles, named it more practically, changed the icons so you can find it more easily. This is the first pack of my updated hairstyles. I’ll link to all the old posts, so you could remove old packages and replace with the new one.

Also I wanted to thank everyone who supported me with money, prays and simple words during these dark times. You are the reason why I’m making and sharing these hairstyles. You’re my angels!^^

Splendid Panelling - Peacemaker's Panel Walls in 125 Colors

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I have for you a 4t2 conversion of @peacemaker-ic's gorgeous Splendid Panelling. These first hit my radar when @enable--llamas converted them for TS3. They quickly became my favorite walls and when I started playing TS2 again, I knew I was going to need them. Like, a lot of them. So I converted the narrow and plain styles (I did not convert the wide style because I couldn't see myself using it enough to justify it) and recolored them in All The Colors™.

So! These come in Fantasy Floss...

...Dark Fantasy...

...Watchmen...

...The Woods are Lovely (with a subtle wood texture)...

...and a small neutral palette because I figured they'd be useful:

Labeled versions of the swatches are included so you can easily keep just what you like. Even I realize 125 colors is a lot. XD All the walls are also sorted by palette and style to make it as easy as possible.

A quick note about the plain walls:

For reasons that elude me, a few of the darker/richer recolors resulted in some banding in the texture. Here's what I'm talking about:

You see that stripe about a third of the way down the wall? Yeah, I have no idea why it's there. It's not on all the dark walls, and sometimes it's higher up. Grande--llama did mention having a similar issue with these when converting them for TS3, and that it was worse with some colors than others, so I'm guessing it's just something innate with the texture. I decided I wanted to share them anyway because it's not a deal-breaker for my purposes, and it is only a few of the colors, but I felt I should point it out.

All the credit for these goes to Peacemaker; I just extracted the textures and recolored them. I also used this texture by mushin3D for the wood recolors.

Since almost every child and teenager in my neighbourhood has either the Malm single bed or the Hemnes single bed, I thought I needed some more options for them! This bed from Dream Home Decorator felt like the perfect option for me, simple and clean design that works well for the young Sims.

All frame swatches included, works with Maxis bedding. Thank you to @thimblesims for helping me troubleshoot on my first effort at converting a bed!

Myshunosun’s Zephyr office set, converted for TS2!

It’s finally done!! I swear this was much more of an ordeal than it should have been, thanks mainly to my mortal enemy, slots. But thanks to the continued help of @pforestsims I have finally defeated them, at least for now.

The shelving unit does have a little wonky footprint (only one tile) and my usual methods to fix it were not working. And honestly after spending close to two weeks fiddling with it, since that doesn’t actually functionally affect anything, I decided to just leave it be.

Included in this set is the chair (dining), desk, end table, books (deco> misc) and shelving unit (surfaces> misc).

The only part of the original set I didn’t convert was the computer - mainly because I already feel like I have enough of them and some look similar enough to the one from that set that it felt like there was no point.

I truly hope you enjoy because I am so happy to stop tinkering with this and start using it!

Homework Default Replacements

Something different today! I've had default replacements for the teen&YA homework for some time, but I was never able to find ones for the children homework that I liked, so I decided to make my own! But while I was making them I liked them so much that I decided to make teen&YA ones too! Bonus! ✨

The top four are the children defaults, images from freepik. The bottom four are the teen, images from @sim-saurus. I made tiny edits to change any English text to Simlish. The blue teen one also replaces the YA one, which is why it's pretty non-descript in terms of what subject the homework could be for. I also did the writing on the insides. The child one says "My favorite thing about this subject is that today I learned how to" and the teen one I went into a whole lil essay about how much fun I was having creating these and how my cat was making me very warm. I then put a page break and had a teacher take 2 points off the top section because my essay wasn't academic enough 😂 which is something I got told all throughout college

Files are compressorized, and remember to remove any other homework defaults you may have before using these. I made them as separate packages in case you wanted to use the child but not the teen or viceversa, or to mix n match with another default.

HEATWAVE BIKINI REMAKE

i made a heap of bikini sets last summer and honestly i wasn’t 100% happy with this one i made but i was so over making bikinis i just rushed it out hehe i went ahead and remade it and i’m super pleased with how it came out this time, and it’s basically how i envisioned it to look now ! yay :-)

details:

separate top & bottom that comes in 18 swatches in my own palette

correct shadow, normal and specular maps

tagged for sleep & swim; disabled for random
